Cotton Cloud Futons

Cotton Cloud uses quality material to make wonderful futons. The staff is very helpful and this store stands behind their product(s). I drove from Seattle to purchase a California Queen sized cotton/wool firm futon mattress for my own bed and 2 twin extra-long futons of the same firmness for my college-attending children to use in their dorm/residence hall living spaces. Cotton Cloud will ship your futon to you, but I drove down to pick up my order so I could spend another fun day exploring Portland (which is an amazing place, btw). The first time I drove here, not being familiar with Portland, OR, my GPS delivered me close, but not in view of the store. Some shady looking guys hanging out in front of a nearby bar turned out to be really nice. They told me I was almost there and pointed out where the store was! The mattresses here are well made and will last for years if you flip your mattress each time you change your sheets. They're so comfortable! The kids appreciate the good nights' sleep they get on theirs too. My only wish for shopping here would be for the store to also sell Japanese joinery styled futon beds to go with their superb mattresses.

I was searching for cotton stuffed mattresses for long time finally I found Cotton cloud store. We booked appointment one Sunday and the store person is very friendly, cooperative. He showed us Queen size cotton mattress which is manufactured with Natural cotton and explained everything about mattress. Price is competitive We received our cotton mattress within 5 business working days. Using mattress for couple of weeks and it’s very cool. Helps really to support lower back.

I LOVE Cotton Cloud Futons! It's a lovely store- clean and natural, featuring lots of futons, mattresses, amazing wool toppers, sheets and pillows. They also have beautiful wooden bed frames. Mack, the owner, is a super nice guy. He is honest, fair and great to work with. His associates were friendly and knowledgeable as well. We are so happy with our purchases! I highly recommend Cotton Cloud Futons!

Worst place to get a mattress. I have purchased from these people twice and it was the same end result. Flattened mattresses within months and that included monthly rotation. I bought the futon and shikibuton and at this point I feel like this place is a scam to take advantage of people who like using natural bedding. My shikibuton that I've had for just over a year now has two mattress toppers and it doesn't make a single difference. The part they don't tell you is these beds are not for everyday use. So unless you have a guest room for it do not buy it for you to use every day. I could feel the floor and futon frame through it in a matter of months. Absolute garbage In response to the store manager: what's funny is I actually went in the first time and talked with one of your associates before I bought the pioneer futon and was told the warranty would not give me store credit since the only issue was that it flattened. I don't recall being given specific instructions as to how each futon mattress was to be conditioned for personal use. So when I called and asked what there was that could be done they said nothing. The warranty only covered faulty materials and tears is what they told me on the phone. So I didn't bother with the shikibuton since that was my experience with the pioneer. I have replaced my shikibuton with a spring mattress and I don't think there's anything I would want to purchase in the store after already giving a second chance about your products. To me it sounds like even with people TALKING TO YOU they weren't properly trained at the time I came into the store before purchasing the first time.

I love my cotton/wool futon that I purchased a few years ago. I was able to test several options in the store and think about it before purchase. Now I’m ready to get another one that I can fold up and use as a sofa/guest bed. Also these modern futons are so much lighter than the ones from 20+ years ago!
