I think it's so wonderful to have a place to try out quality mattresses rather than depending on them to be shipped in the mail. They carry a lot of latex mattresses that you can't find in store anywhere. Certainly saves a lot of time, money and waste. I also like that they have all the pillows to try out, but one tip for pillow shoppers, don't buy them in this store, they are immediately not returnable. Buy directly from the manufacturers website, as they typically have a 60-90 day return policy. The return policy really matters when the pillow costs $100 and up.
View on GoogleJust bought my second and unfortunately last Stumptown mattress. I can’t recommend the quality of the mattress enough- I’ve had one for 5 years and moved it thousands of miles and it’s still the most comfortable bed I’ve owned (now a guest bed). However after purchasing the top of the line mattress last week, it was damaged in shipping. Regrettably the customer service team has seemed unconcerned about this and after agreeing to a replacement it seems the soonest I can get a new mattress is a full week. This is certainly frustrating living 20 miles from their Portland location! If the product is delivered safely you are in for the best sleep of your life but certainly beware if you’re hoping for a speedy resolution to any concerns.
View on GoogleUPDATE: I have received a replacement mattress at no cost to me. I'm only leaving 4 stars as I did get a bum mattress to begin with. My new mattress fits on top of my box spring perfectly and is firm with just the right amount of give. There was obviously a couple of issues with the first one. Original Review: My mattress came flawed with this pucker and really doesn't seem properly filled. It's a good 1"+ shorter then my box spring on all sides which is odd too. Unfortunately because I was diagnosed with cancer right at receipt of it I did not have the time, brain power or energy to contact the company to return it in a timely manner and the manufacturers warranty states I must foot the cost of shipping to & from for a new one.
View on GoogleSignificantly better than the Casper mattress I had tried for a few months beforehand (and ultimately gotten rid of to buy this awesome mattress from Stumptown). The Stumptown mattress is more comfortable, environmentally sustainable, lasts longer, and was half the price of that Casper mattress that didn't work for me.
View on GoogleWe had a great experience with Stumptown mattress. They worked with us on the delivery date. Our RV mattress are very comfortable. We wish we had found Stumptown sooner.
