I have a mattress I’ve always been in love with, but it’s 10 years old and, and in the past 9ish months, I’ve notice it’s sagging. I really didn’t want to have to buy a new mattress, especially right now, but here we are.
The mattress I have (a Beautyrest Recharge Worldclass) is no longer made, and I was finding conflicting information in forums on what people recommended.
I saw reviews about Robert here, and was hoping he could help me. He knew exactly what mattress I was talking about, and said that would help him find a similar mattress for me. I knew the firmness I wanted based on what I had bought combined with buying a plush mattress for my guest room that everyone raves about, but I can’t sleep 1 night in there without feeling like I’m sinking.
He had me try about 8 mattresses. The 8th one felt Exactly like my old mattress before it started sagging. It was just this feeling. I went back to a couple of the others (which were more expensive) to make sure.
Robert was so amazing the whole time. Calm and just explaining the differences.
I ended up choosing a mattress that Factory Mattress itself makes. It’s called the Milton. It’s similar to a Serta, I think.
I had it delivered yesterday (they took my other mattress), and I slept so well! I wasn’t expecting to on the first night.
I always wake up in the middle of the night, but this was one of the best nights in many months.
Thank you, Robert!

We had a great experience today. John put us on the Right Fit bed. My partner and I had a different thought of what we needed, however, between John’s charm and experience we ended up agreeing on a great bed. We did buy it after seeing him juggle his ghost pepper hot sauce and eating his cookies. Today was great…tomorrow’s night sleep will be even be better.

We’ve bought our mattresses and pillows from Factory Mattress sales for years! The sales staff is personable and friendly without fawning. They are helpful, mindful of your budget, and well-informed about the products they carry. The delivery team was on time and efficient!

Update: The warranty department sent me an email they're closed so beware buying at a factory mattress as of 6/29.
Sadly, the Kingsdown mattress we bought here wrecked our health and the warranty has been a mess. The staff is really nice so I hope this gets resolved.
Unfortunately, the Kingsdown mattress we bought here failed after 2.2 years. At first it was wonderful. After about 1 year it starting to slump and sink in where we slept. After 2 years it caused serious pain. After 6 months of nerve pain in our backs and glutes, 2 MRIs, and multiple XRAYs, I finally pinpointed the Kingsdown bed as the culprit. What happened is the foam top wore down and only supported our heaviest parts. As a result it put pressure only at those places, and also shoved our shoulders way forward. This wrecked our posture and bodies.
We recently took a trip and slept on 4 other mattresses with no issue. It's so bad I'm now sleeping on a blow up mattress in the living room to prevent the nerve pain while this warranty gets resolved.
Today, Kingsdown denied the warranty. They claim the mattress being on a slat voided the warranty. I was never told this by the sales staff. So we may be out $2600, months of serious pain, and starting over. I've tried calling the warranty person for over a week and gotten no help resolving it.
It's a shame because the staff at Brodie genuinely cares, is kind, and was so helpful when we bought, but here I am sleeping on a blow up mattress with nerve pain from this Kingsdown mattress that won't honor the warranty because of a loophole I wasn't informed of. It's a big let down.
So, if you are considering a Kingsdown, consider this your warning and avoid it like we will be doing in the future!
Also be aware most foam wears down and is built into the mattress so you can't swap it and if warranty fails you're probably stuck buying a new mattress. Most of the plush stuff you feel is just foam that will wear out over time leaving you stuck with grooves inside your mattress sewn in there.
We plan on upgrading to a Tempur-pedic which all the staff loves and a doctor recommended and hope they can help us resolve this in which case I'll update my review while leaving the note about the Kingsdown Eleanor model absolutely wrecking our bodies.
