A few months ago, my wife and I decided to finally replace our old refrigerator after it started making loud buzzing noises in the middle of the night. We originally planned to go to one of the big-box stores, but a neighbor recommended Famous Tate Appliance & Bedding Center instead, saying the service felt more personal. I’m glad we listened. The first thing I noticed walking in was that nobody immediately rushed over trying to “sell” us something. One of the employees gave us time to look around before asking what we actually needed. We explained the size limitations in our kitchen and our budget, and the salesperson was surprisingly honest about which models were worth paying extra for and which ones mainly had features we’d probably never use. What really stood out happened after delivery. The delivery team arrived on time, carefully measured the doorway twice, and even noticed one of our water line connections looked worn out before installing the new fridge. They fixed the issue instead of just ignoring it and leaving. That kind of attention honestly saved us from what could’ve turned into a leak later. Some customers online also mentioned positive delivery experiences and strong customer service, although others reported delays with appliance orders and warranty frustrations. The only frustrating part for us was waiting longer than expected for the exact stainless-steel model we wanted because it was backordered. Communication could’ve been better during that process. Still, compared to the rushed feeling I usually get at larger appliance chains, Famous Tate felt more local and customer-focused. Buying appliances is normally stressful, but this experience felt surprisingly smooth, and I’d honestly shop there again when it’s time to replace our washer and dryer.

We went in Sunday afternoon after visiting several other stores, shopping for a new washer and dryer. Cash was very knowledgeable, helped me find the exact model I had found at other stores. It was already matching the lowest price of another store, plus had a rebate (which other place didn’t), so it ended up being cheaper. We were able to get on the free delivery schedule Tuesday. Our delivery window was 1-4pm. They sent a text that had live tracking, and our delivery came at 12:59pm. Delivery guys were efficient and professional, machines were exactly as ordered and work perfectly. 100% recommend doing business here, and will be back if we have any other needs!

I did my homework before purchasing a new washer and dryer last month. The one thing I did not think about was the warranty. Lynn my sales associate was great! we looked between a few washer and we agreed that the GE Profile was for me and we did take added warranty out due to today electronics. She was a gem to work with. Anytime I go I need any appliance I will go to her.

I bought a Speed Queen Washer and Dryer set here 2 years ago and couldn't locate my receipt for warranty and called the store and within minutes Rebecca sent it to me via email. I called Speed Queen and had a service date immediately. No hassles. No "we don't have your information" or any excuse of why they couldn't help, just easy, wonderful responses and great customer service for both Fanous Tate and Speed Queen!
