Mattress Firm South Boulevard

Went in to test a couple of mattresses out and Jon was such a tremendous help. He was very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, one of the most pleasant mattress shopping experiences I've had! Ended up making a purchase online but if it wasn't for Jon and his help, I might've made the mistake of going elsewhere. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area and need a mattress. You'll be taken really good care of here!

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1-Star Review My experience at Mattress Firm - South Boulevard has been nothing short of infuriating. When I first purchased my mattress, Jim never once mentioned that the mattress true purchased was non-refundable. He happily made the sale, talked up the “free” adjustable base, and sent me on my way. But when I came back because the mattress wasn’t a good fit, suddenly everything changed. Jim told me the mattress he sold me was non-refundable, a detail he conveniently withheld during the purchase. On top of that, he informed me the “FREE” adjustable base would cost $500 just to return for an item that was supposedly included at no charge. How does something advertised as free magically turn into a $500 bill the moment you try to return it? It’s deceptive, manipulative, and feels like a trap designed to prevent customers from returning anything. This entire situation feels like a scam. If Jim had disclosed ANY of this up front, I never would have bought here. I walked away feeling misled, taken advantage of, and stuck with a mattress I don’t even want. He actually told us if we don’t like it we have 30 days to return or exchange for something of equal value or pay the difference in price of higher value. Buyers beware: they don’t tell you the truth until it’s too late.

My fiancé and I went in looking for a new mattress for our guest bedroom and Jim Downy from the South Boulevard store made it such a painless experience! He didn’t try to oversell us on things we didn’t need, and we walked away with the perfect mattress for our budget and circumstances. He was very kind, and made it a wonderful purchase for us. Highly recommend both Jim and this location if you’re looking for a new mattress.

Jim was the MOST helpful ever! I super appreciate his help, super detailed information, and he never made me feel obligated to buy. He kept his word on any & all sales/pricing he talked about. Really great guy! Highly recommend working with him, he made the process so seamless despite my back and forth hesitation.

I hope you go in on a day Jim (James Downey) is there. I went in to this mattress firm thinking I knew what I wanted and had a firm idea in my mind. However after talking to Jim and listening to his advice I settled on a great mattress that I don’t think I would have initially got if I did not come into the store. He is so sweet and knowledgeable, I truly had such a pleasant morning with him in the store. I learned some new things that ill always remember in my future bed/sleeping endeavors and I left very satisfied with my purchase all thanks to him! Please give this nice location a try, and see Mr. Jim, he was a real gem!
