Sad but true! This manufacturer has a great sales line and knowledgeable staff. The REAL problem is that they don’t manufacture the quality they sell. It was definitely a bait and switch in my situation. I spent almost 6 hours there. I spoke to two sales people, one being the manager to see why their mattress would give me what I needed. I slept on the mattress in the store for an hour. The first mattress arrived damaged by the shipping company, but I noticed the pillow top was not made well. I called Patrick and Lisa and told them to make sure the next one was carefully inspected and made correctly. The next one came and it was wrinkled not tight and firm like the one in the store. Lisa said to “sleep on it for 4-6 weeks” I couldn’t sleep on it for one hour because my leg fell asleep. I called the next day and spoke to Kevin who told me that the sagging in the middle was not based on science, but my comfort. I took the plastic off to take pictures of the sagging and noticed the top of the mattress had not been inspected and that the mattress pillow top was dirty and wrinkly like it had been through a bad machine.. I sent pictures of this to Kevin. He said he would get back to me. I’ve been sleeping on the floor for the past 7 days even though they acknowledged that there is no way that someone in good conscience would buy this mattress if it were on their showroom floor. He apologized and admitted it was all their fault; but he has refused to give me my money back. Now he wants to send me yet a third mattress. I explained to him that this was not a mattress that went bad after 4 to 6 months. This is a mattress that is bad on delivery. He refused to listen to me. I had to open a dispute with my credit card company. As nice and genuine as these people seem, I no longer have any trust in them. They can tell you anything they want and deliver whatever they want and it is your problem then. At the end, I think it’s all about the money to them and they don’t care about the quality. There is no way this mattress would have gone out if they had quality checks at the factory. It’s easy to say they have a no return policy and deliver anything they want by hiding behind their policy. It is my recommendation that you don’t ever buy a mattress from these people because you don’t know what you’re going to get and they take no responsibility for their product. When I explained to Kevin that I’ve only had three hours a night of sleep in the last seven days, he asked me when he could send me my new mattress and please trust him. This is a hideous joke. I no longer trust these people. I have a policy too, Kevin, I refuse to pay for a bait and switch just because you have “a policy.”

Since we were satisfied with the past purchase for our son bed. The employee Susan was amazingly personable, knowledgeable and professional, making our expeience and decision painless. Im Looking forward to a well rested sleep on the Orthopedic Euro Top mattress set.

I bought a mattress back in April 2024 that turned out to be more firm than I was expecting, and she was so helpful in explaining the different options we could look at to make sure I was comfortable. I’m happy with the pillow top cover I purchased and also confident that if I change my mind again and need something different, that she’ll be able to help me get the right mattress.
View on GoogleMy fiance and I visited the Original Mattress Company and had a wonderful experience purchasing our Latex mattress. Scott was our salesman and he was extremely knowledgeable and went as far as showing us the factory and how the mattresses were made. A small business owner myself, I take great pride in supporting businesses just like The Original Mattress Company manufacturing their products in the USA. We have had our mattress and pillows for about a week now and the unit is Awesome! Remember, over 1/3 of your life is spent on a mattress so the investment is small when you compare the price over years of comfort. Thank you Scott and The Original Mattress Company!
