Purple - Factory Outlet

Rhonda gave us a great customer experience. She was friendly , knowledgeable and not pushy in any way. We were already Purple mattress fans and were looking for a good deal, which I'm happy to say we got!

Amazing staff here. Answered all questions asked without hesitation. Guided me around the store making sure I understood what was being said about each product and how each mattress was different. Sales member was helpful in making sure i got exactly what I wanted. Will come back for future purchases.

Went into purple store today on 2100 S Salt Lake City, Utah to try out a purple mattress. I met Hunter Day and he was exceptionally awesome. He took time to explain 3 different purple mattress and went above and beyond to answer my questions.

Last month, I bought a PurplePlus mattress and decided it wasn’t for me. I spoke to a rep on the phone who set me up to exchange the mattress for another, but I decided it would be best to visit a Purple location and try out the differences to find one that works. I told the sales rep that I just wanted to try the Purple Mattress and the PurpleFlex so I could feel the difference between the medium-firm and a firm mattress. The conversation spun out of control at that point. (Honestly, I can’t even believe this level of assineness happened, it’s so ridiculous!) The sales rep was dehumanizing and condescending in how she talked to me. Every time I referred to the Purple Mattress, PurplePlus, or PurpleFlex, she would say that all their mattresses were Purple mattresses because the company is called Purple. She repeated this three times, each time speaking more slowly and more directly, as if I didn’t know the company was called Purple. When I asked which of the three mattresses was firmer or softer, she said she couldn’t answer because it would feel different for different people. This conversation went on for another ten minutes without any assistance when I finally said I was done and walked out of the store. I don’t care how great a product you have - customer service is everything. I’m just going to return the mattress and go with a different brand.

The Purple Mattress Factory Outlet was great! I came in needing a mattress and frame asap. Lindsay helped me out and she was fantastic. Super helpful but also no pressure. She showed me the different options available and was super transparent about pricing and discounts. I think the outlet discount is a steal. I was in and out the door with everything I needed at a great price. I’ve been a fan of Purple mattresses for a while—but the outlet store was unexpectedly great. Highly recommended.
