If I could give it ZERO stars I would. The quality of the installation was very terrible. We paid $200 for them to deliver and assembly the bedroom and it hasn’t even been 48hr and the bed frame is falling apart while we’re sleeping on it. It took the installers like 30 mins??? Which I believe is the reason the bed frame is falling apart. The slates were drilled into the frame so tightly that the wood slats started warping in different directions. Even the headboard is coming out. Our sales person was amazing but the product and quality of the products he’s selling makes the whole experience very sour. When I called customer care the best they could offer me was a week out from today they will have someone come out to “look at it” at this point we need a whole new frame. What am I supposed to sleep on while I wait for their “customer care”..?

I’m a single dad and a veteran just trying to step outside my comfort zone and make our new place feel like a home. Figured I’d do something simple go buy an area rug. That turned into one of the worst retail experiences I’ve had in a long time at Rooms To Go.
The moment I walked in, it felt like I’d stepped onto a used car lot. Salespeople who had been sprawled out on furniture suddenly jumped up and swarmed me like vultures. It was uncomfortable right off the bat, and honestly, I almost walked out.
I stuck it out and explained exactly what I was looking for. Instead of listening, I was shown at least 30 rugs that had nothing to do with what I asked for. Eventually, I found one I actually liked only to be told it was $1,300 when my budget was around $200. The second that became clear, the salesman completely lost interest in helping me and quickly passed me off to the outlet side like I didn’t matter anymore.
Over there, the experience got worse. The difference in effort and professionalism was obvious. The next salesman barely engaged basically told me to “walk around and see what you can find.” No guidance, no effort, nothing.
After about an hour of digging through rugs myself, I finally found one I liked. It was hanging with several others that were the same size, looked nearly identical, and were priced much lower. When I asked why this one was double the price, the answer I got was, “It just is.” No explanation. No attempt to help.
As someone who works in sales, I even tried to meet them halfway. I told him I was willing to pay a fair price comparable to the others—around $80 but was immediately shut down with, “We don’t negotiate here.” That was it.
So I left.
Now I’m sitting in my living room with no rug and a pretty bad impression of a company that clearly doesn’t care about its customers just looking fir their next commission check... If management reads this, you’ve got a serious issue with how your staff treats people.
I just made a commission check of over 7k and if treated right I may have bought an entire livingroom set secretly that's what I really wanted to do just needed to be sold on it. This review is for the floor manager, get it together. IS A NICE RUG THOUGH BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE RUG CANT SELL ITSELF

They don’t clearly explain the terms when you’re purchasing. The refund process is a disaster—you have to give up at least 20% to get a refund, and you need to go back and forth several times. It’s a waste of time and money. The managers aren’t very friendly, but the staff aren’t bad.

My first ever shopping experience at RTG Katy, Texas was fantastic. I worked with Candice Clay in picking out a new couch and side chair. She was so patient and friendly. Candi answered all my questions and showed me exactly what I wanted. She made the whole experience move so flawlessly. The only hiccup was not being able to get patterned pillows for my solid couch that matched my side chair pattern. (That was due to a dumb policy that RTG has of not being able to sell pillows separately from their sofas). I was able to buy two fluffy pillows from the RTG outlet next-door for only $10 dollars apiece. What a great deal! So the next time you’re at Rooms To Go in Katy/Brookeshire, Texas, ask for Candice. Tell her Sarah sent you!
