Rooms To Go

I’m sharing my experience in hopes of getting guidance or resolution. About 20 months ago I purchased a 100% leather sofa from Rooms To Go and also purchased the recommended protection/warranty coverage through Fortegra. Recently the leather in one area of the sofa faded and became noticeably discolored under normal household use. Because leather furniture is expected to last for many years, I contacted Rooms To Go and the warranty provider to ask about repair or replacement. Unfortunately, both indicated the issue was not covered and declined to address it. Since I still have about $600 remaining on the Synchrony financing for the furniture, I also contacted Synchrony Bank and opened a dispute explaining that the product appears to have deteriorated prematurely. I’m disappointed because I expected a leather sofa to maintain its appearance much longer than just over a year, especially with a protection plan in place. I’ve attached photos of the discoloration so others can see the issue. If anyone from Rooms To Go or Fortegra is willing to review the situation again, I would appreciate it. I’m simply hoping for a fair resolution such as repair, restoration, or another reasonable solution. Thank you.

I had an excellent experience working with Harmony Hanson at the Jacksonville store. It took me three visits to the store to make up my mind on several items. She was patient and extremely helpful at every visit. Very satisfied customer here!

We bought furniture from RTG multiple times and for the most part we’ve been very happy with our purchases. We’ve had a few minor issues here and there, but their customer service has always been fantastic! (Highly recommend the extended warranty). At the Jax town center location we absolutely love working with Johan. We’ve worked with him several times, and he’s always super helpful, very knowledgeable about the products, and most importantly, fun! He makes the whole process easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I stopped by Rooms To Go looking for a new couch and I’m really glad I did. Johan was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to explain everything in detail. He made the process easy and enjoyable. I was so impressed with his service that I came back the very next day with my parents, and he helped me choose the perfect couch for my apartment and also helped my parents find one for their home. Highly recommend asking for Johan if you go in!
