Rooms To Go

We purchased the Drew & Jonathan Davidson Caramel Leather Dual Power Reclining Sofa from Rooms To Go on January 11, 2026 (Order #41906375) for nearly $3,000, expecting quality furniture that would last for years. Instead, within just four months, the frame on the right side began bending and becoming visibly uneven. A technician came out and confirmed the frame issue was not caused by misuse and ordered a replacement frame section. While we have been waiting for that repair, the left side of the sofa has now started doing the exact same thing, making it clear that this is not an isolated defect but appears to be a larger quality issue with the sofa’s construction. The attached photo shows how severely the frame has shifted. The seat is noticeably out of level, and the sofa looks worn out despite being practically brand new. What has been even more frustrating than the defective furniture is the difficulty we’ve had working with Rooms To Go. Rather than standing behind a nearly $3,000 purchase, we have had to repeatedly push for a resolution while watching the couch continue to deteriorate. Replacing one side of the frame does little to restore confidence when the opposite side is now failing as well. We purchased this sofa because we believed we were investing in quality furniture. Instead, we have experienced multiple frame failures within months of ownership and have spent far too much time dealing with repairs and customer service. At this point, we believe a full replacement or re-selection is the appropriate resolution. We are extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the handling of this situation and would not recommend this sofa based on our experience.

My experience at Rooms to Go was pleasant. We were greeted at the door by Julie Dew and she allowed us time to walk around without feeling hassled. We needed to get measurements and came back to purchase our sofa at a later date with her. She was very professional and understanding which made our purchase a breeze.
