Royal Furniture - Jackson

I will never shop at Royal Furniture again. I found a queen headboard I liked in the Jackson store. They had none in stock, but my salesperson showed me on her computer lots of inventory at other stores. She said she’d have one from another store sent and I could pick it up the next day and she would let me know when it was in. No big deal. Well the next day, by early afternoon nobody had called telling my pickup was ready. So I preemptively called, and was told it was available for pickup. (Thanks guys for letting me know). I showed up at the warehouse back door and the guy looked for 20 minutes and couldn’t find it. So he got ahold of my salesperson and she was very pushy and wanted me to take the floor model instead. I was like, “No, you showed me on your computer you were getting me a brand new headboard and frame. I don’t want one that’s been on the showroom floor for two years that 500 people have touched.” I told her this was my one trip to pick it up, if it wasn’t available as promised then they could deliver a brand new one to my place in Humboldt or they’d lose my business. And she did nothing to make me feel like a valued customer or earn my business, so I cancelled my order. Not because I didn’t want one of these queen headboards and frame, but because my salesperson was unethical and in no way made me feel like a valued customer.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE SHOP AT ROYAL FURNITURE. I purchased a dining table with the protection plan from Royal Furniture last year. Within a couple months, it was peeling and cracking at the edges. The legs of the chairs are now loose and unsafe to sit in. I called to use the protection plan for repairs but my claim was denied. This purchase was a total waste of money. Big Lots probably has better quality furniture.

We bought a couch from this store and they were nice enough to hold it for us until we could move into our new house. My father in law went and picked it up for us because I am deployed. They gave him the wrong couch and my wife noticed after we got it home. This store refused to solve the problem they created. Would not bring us the new couch and pick up the wrong couch. My wife spoke with corporate office and they treated her like trash and was rude. We ended up paying to have the couch delivered and picked up. Do not buy from them. If they don’t want to have good customer service they shouldn’t be in business.

Need to be up front about what they do not cover about Warranty . have a 4 year warranty on the Furniture I purchased two years ago and The stitching is coming loose on the couch and was told by the warrant company they do not cover that ,this is very Disheartenment after spend hard Earned money on this product, One of the main reasons I bought this furniture was because of the warranty to have pice of mind if anything went wrong for a few years . They would be better off To not have warranty Then to offer it And and not Honor it. Alice took great care of me and my husband when we came in looking for a sectional. She wasn't pushy (which I appreciate), and she was kind enough to text me exact measurements of a sectional we had liked. I'm impressed that she remembered which one we had picked out. We came back a few weeks later and purchased it, and she was awesome. She got us set up with financing, and I should be getting a call tomorrow to set up delivery. I recommend asking for Alice when you walk in! She will get you squared away.
