We bought one bed for my son and one bedroom set for my daughter. Lets start with the delivery. We waited until almost 7pm for them to show. the drivers were professional enough i suppose. The bedroom set for my daughter was a floor model, so we expected some dings and dents. What we did not expect were missing bolts and a broken bed rail. Also what we did not expect was the floor model for my son's bed because we were told we were getting the brand new one. The delivery drivers told us they just grabbed the floor model because getting a new one and putting it together would have taken all day. It has missing bolts, mismatch, bolts and screws are poked through some of the boards. initially, I did not think too much of it because I figured, they're a local store and I would reach out to the store and give them a chance to make it right. I noted the damages and issues on the delivery sheet, but received no call from the store. I then called and left a message the days later detailing all of this, still no call from the store. I was giving them a fair chance to make it right before I did this review. I have heard nothing back from them, It has been one full week. Update I was finally able to get ahold of the general manager of the store. She replaced the ramp and refunded my delivery fee. She is supposed to be checking to see if she can find me the bolts for my daughter's bed.

Buster is by far the most helpful and knowledgeable salesman of furniture. He is not pushy, if you go in there talk to him, tell him exactly what you can spend and what your needing. Schewels has a real gem with him. I've lived here since 2003, and they are the best to work with your budget really nice furniture. I told Buster I was looking for a dresser and a chest of drawers, but I was on a small budget, he called me later that morning told me he had a chest of drawers for 98.00, as grandparents raising grandchildren I was so grateful and blessed by Buster and Schewels. Even the women in the office said I got a great deal. And to think I was embarrassed to tell Buster my budget. He didn't laugh he said I'll see what comes in. I've bought from them in the past, I'm in need of bedroom furniture I'll be back.

Their salesperson Buster was very knowledgable and he let me browse for what I want d. When I found it he was efficient in locating the availability and answered all my questions. This is the third time we have purchased living room furniture from Schewels. I would go back again.

I walked in to browse and was immediately greeted by a very sweet soul named Buster. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the furniture I was interested in. I'm a pretty indecisive person when it comes to larger purchases and he was so patient through my many changed decisions lol. The ladies in the back handling the paperwork were great as well. I give them 4 stars because the furniture buying process is a bit lengthy and they didn't have a public restroom. Mr. Buster was the reason I decided to make a purchase this day. I think the building needs a makeover but aside from that, I'd definitely shop here again in the future. I haven't received my furniture yet as it is on backorder, but I will update this review once I receive the furniture.

As I've mentioned before, the staff at the Suffolk, VA Main Street Schewels has always been wonderful to us. We have purchased several items from them and plan to continue to do business with them. We especially enjoy the confidence we have in Buster. He has never led us wrong.
