Sleep Number

I had a great experience at the Sleep Number store thanks to Jael! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure. Jael made the process easy and enjoyable, and I felt confident in my purchase. Highly recommend asking for her!

We purchased an i10 model in 2021 and discovered 3.5 years later that one of the mattresses was a (lesser) i8 model mattress — which also caused the bed platform to break. We’ve certainly noticed something was “off” with the mattress being smaller and the fitted sheet always slipping off — but we never would have dreamed the incorrect mattress was installed! When we called corporate, they offered to replace the i8 mattress with an i10… but what about the 3.5 years we lived with the wrong mattress? Our problem is not only this error was made, but that Sleep Number refused to take ownership of how we lived with the wrong mattress as long as we did. While they are finally giving us the correct mattress, we are unimpressed with their customer service, and my hunch is you will be too.

Our expert at the LaCantera Sleep Number store, San Antonio, TX, was absolutely excellent. From the moment we entered the store, until we completed our purchase, we were treated with courtesy and respect. The store manager, David, the store manager, met us immediately and introduced us to the Sleep Number line of products. He provided demonstrations of the various mattresses, addressed the various built-in capabilities of each and clearly answered each of our questions clearly and concisely. As a result of his in-depth knowledge of the Sleep Number product, without reservation we were able to make our selection of the bed we believe will successfully provide our sleep needs well into the future. If you are in the San Antonio area and are interested in the Sleep Number products, I recommend the Sleep Number store at LaCantera and ask for David.

I live in AZ but was directed by customer service to reach out to the San Antonio store to get the status of a purchase. I called reluctantly, thinking I’d been misdirected. No one answered so I assumed it was because it was New Year’s Day. A few minutes later, Yael called from the San Antonio store to see how she could help. When I say that she went above and beyond, that is an understatement. She didn’t have an immediate answer to my inquiry but did some research and called me back. Even though it wasn’t in her typical realm of inquiry, she found answers. She was so professional, polite and kind. Sleep Number is lucky to have her as an employee.

Wonderful customer service asked for Jeff he is extremely helpful and knows his mattresses!
