BUYER BEWARE! Avoid this company! Zero quality control! Ordered the Tatami bed frame and 2 nightstands in the maple finish and what showed up was NOTHING like the photos. Every piece of wood was a different, mismatching color! We just wanted what was actually advertised. Predatory return policy. Exchange for store credit only, a 20% restocking fee, and they expect us to pay return shipping. No refunds.

I’m new to futon mattresses and wanted to learn. I walked in and Miguel was so informative and was very helpful. He also made sure to honor a good sale price for the coco! Would recommend this place.

We bought a sofa bed with the wool upholstery thinking this expensive couch would last years. Turns out less than 3 years. The 4 screws used to keep the back upright when not as a bed broke on one side so you can not lean back when sitting on that side. Even though we live in the Bay Area, the Futon Shop said the don’t service this furniture which sucks for sustainability and investment. A handyman and us noticed the repair would require cutting through the wool in the part of the couch where you sit as there’s no other access point. While we liked the couch while it worked (and the wool was good at preventing stains) I would never buy such an expensive couch for such a short period of time.

The bed, sheets, and pillows are amazing! However, the service staff in the store were unfriendly - passive aggressive, and the delivery driver didn’t knock on the front door and was likely to not complete the delivery. Luckily someone came to tell me they were sitting outside - I was waiting for them in the kitchen. Everything was completed though and I got what I ordered. The quality is outstanding.

Just bought a Futon mattress and Bedframe from this shop and got some help making the decision on some of the products. Miguel was great at helping us find the right pillows and checking us out quickly.
