Original Mattress Factory is that they actually make their mattresses right on-site. That gave me a real sense of confidence because I could see the process for myself. The staff was flexible and never once made me feel pressured or “pitched.” Instead, they let me take my time, ask questions, and figure out exactly what I wanted. It felt refreshing to be in an environment where the focus was on helping, not selling. The whole experience was low-pressure but high-value, and that combination made me feel like I made the right choice.

This store, located off of SR 280 in Marietta, boasts a large showroom filled with a myriad of mattresses all lined up to try out. Paul's saintly patience came to call when my wife and I tested several mattresses until finding the right one for us. We ended up taking the top-of-the-line mattress. We were even taken back for a quick glimpse of the factory where the magic happens. No failure-prone roll-up mattresses here (like the crappy one we got 6 months ago from Nubba)... just great traditional ones like our parents and grandparents were used to... and fair prices too!
View on GoogleI have owned no fewer than five OMF mattresses. The most recent being the one pictured in this review which replaced a 12 year old one of the same specs . This version of the Orthopedic ultra plush has been the most uncomfortable BRICK of a mattress we have ever owned . We have had it about 8 weeks and have both woken up to aches and pains daily . The left side of the mattress is folding at the top ( I am 180# ) and the right side is slightly folding . The mattress is also sloping to the left ……………… we are receiving a comfort replacement today which after tax and delivery is costing about 550.00 in addition to the original purchase . The initial purchase of the mattress was great as usual and the assistance with the replacement was fine although OMF showed little interest in why one is replacing a very expensive investment after only 8 weeks . I have chosen the pillow top version of this bed as a replacement and will see if it meets the quality of past purchases and will follow up with this review in a few weeks ……………… follow up : received the replacement mattress( I paid the comfort fee) and the delivery team was timely and courteous . OMF reached out to me to see why I gave a two star review and assured me that they would follow up once they received the first mattress back to the warehouse and took a look at it . “Crickets”. Never heard a word so can only assume that nothing in my original purchase was defective in their view and it was simply my issue with the comfort of the first one . I personally just feel the quality has changed from my other purchases as I still sleep on a identical older OMF bed at a second home and it is still wonderful : as far as the replacement goes it’s fine but nothing great and will get replaced sometime in the next few weeks when I have time to do this all over again . I adjusted my rating to one star for the simple reason I never heard back from anyone at OMF even though they claimed otherwise . It’s funny when people “leave a voicemail” yet it’s so easy to track that on a smart phone and yes the point is taken to definitely move to another brand of mattress as you age because nothing stays the same ……… FINAL update ; gave the mattress to a nephew for his guest bedroom ; after rarely using it for a year and a half even his guests couldn’t take how uncomfortable it was and he replaced it with another brand .
View on GoogleSure, I guess their mattresses are well made, but their return and exchange policies are pretty laughable for the current mattress industry. You better be sure that you picked the right mattress. I didn’t, and I basically had to eat my money.
View on GoogleI cannot say enough good things about TOMF! I have purchased two mattresses from them and have been extremely happy with the quality, price, and customer service. The sales staff are friendly, informative, and down to earth. No hard pressure sales tactics or crazy bundle offers. Just honest people with a great product sold at a fair price. Delivery both times was on time, seamless, and professional. I highly recommend this company for all your mattress needs.
