Value City Furniture NJ

As soon as I walked in, Dwight greeted me with a smile without any pressure. He understood my mission was to furnish my apt within my budget and style. I came away with everything I needed plus much more…. And under budget. Dwight and team made my day! Highly recommend Dwight at value city…. Matt

We had a great expierience at this store .. staff was EXCELLENT they worked with us to find exactly what we were looking for. Rosann was very friendly, professional and very funny, she had us laughing away, as well as our sales associate, honestly I cant remember a time that Ive had such a pleasant expierience at a retail store.... thank you for that. We will purchase all of our furniture from this store from here on out. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN FOR MAKING OUR EXPIERIENCE A GREAT ONE .

I have dealt with a local value city in Lakewood and the staff there is very nice and helpful, however, their service department is AWFUL. I bought a set of dressers and they were made so poorly and the drawers were breaking. I bumped into one with a laundry basket and the trim cracked. They finally after several weeks send replacement drawers- one is damaged. One is the wrong color and I’m missing one. Only one of the 3 sent was correct. I finally have to go into the store to get some assistance on getting a replacement to the replacement and the store was very, very helpful. So I send the email. I finally get a response from service and I send the chain of emails back to service and I tell them a drawer that wasn’t damaged is now damaged. The trim is just falling off of the drawer. At this point I want a credit to get something nicer. Someone calls and speaks to my husband and tries to say you’re over stuffing the drawers you shouldn’t have even received replacement drawers. A technician is supposed to come out. Now I’m going to fight with them over the crap that was made because you suddenly don’t want to send drawers after you sent me the wrong ones, you want a technician to come out and do what? Ridiculous. I feel bad for the sales people because they are very nice, but some of their products are made horribly and their customer service is the absolute worst. This company should be ashamed of themselves.

I have purchased home furnishings from Value City for my home in New Jersey and have been more than satisfied with my experience. My recent purchase was for my living room and I was greeted by Dwight whose energy and enthusiasm was a testament to how a salesperson will successfully make you feel confident about your purchase. He understood my needs and most importantly listened carefully. Thanks Dwight continue with your winning personality!

Eric at eatontown store saw that i was looking for specific dimensions for a dresser and offered me to look with his tape measure without pressuring me. He knew i needed to double check the space before ordering and i came back next day to order. Delivery guys were excellent. The sofa was being delivered a new building in jersey city where the address letters were not that visible from main road. The guys were very patient finding me and very polite and gentle with the furniture!
