American Mattress

We really liked working with Bill Mackey the store manager here. We bought a twin mattress here on our second short visit and Bill was knowledgeable, upfront, helpful, and personable. We hadn't shopped for a mattress in maybe 15 years and were out of date on the industry. But American Mattress had the advantage of being the third and last shop we visited, and we sort of knew what we wanted and what we wanted to pay at that point. Bill was the right guy at the right time for us, and he liked that we knew a bit also! American Mattress also had another advantage - they had a nice closeout special on a quality twin mattress and that pretty much nailed it for us. Bill also arranged for a prompt delivery the very next day after our purchase. Thank you Bill and best wishes for the holidays as well!

I went into the Des Plaines American Mattress to get just a box spring. James Martino was great. A really friendly and professional guy. I live right down the block and he gave me a break on the delivery. The two delivery people were likewise friendly and professional. I'd give this American Mattress an A+ in customer service, price, delivery (next day), and professionalism!

My husband and I came looking for a mattress knowing nothing about it. Bill was very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and not pushy. We were not pressured and had a great conversation with Bill about mattress’ quality and value. Honestly, it’s really surprising to feel he doesn’t push you to buy anything but instead trying to match the quality with the budget you have available. Thank you Bill. P.S. give Bill a raise please, or give him a million dollars bonus. He is great!

I purchased a great mattress today from Jim, he was very knowledgeable about the products available and was a pleasure to work with. Delivery times are very reasonable and accommodating to my schedule. The store was very clean too! In 10 years I will be back! Regards, Jason

Great store! Michael went above and beyond to help us! We came in looking for a mattress with high expectations and very small budget! We honestly weren't sure if we were going to be able to find what we were looking for! We didn't want to sacrifice the quality! Michael let us try different mattresses asking what we liked and didn't like about each one of them. After 10 minutes of narrowing down he finally found a mattress we loved within our price range! He was extremely knowledgeable and answered each one of our questions! He wasn't pushy, he wasn't rude, he genuinely cared about finding us a mattress that would fit into our budget and filled our needs! He also arranged next day delivery for us! Probably best store experience I've had! Thanks Michael for helping us out!!!
