Amazing salesman!! Great sofa, but high priced despite being 4th of July sale. Highly recommend our salesman. He was right on top of showing us what we were interested in within the entire store, in a quick manner.

I visited on July 4th looking for a very specific furniture set. When we first came in, there were several salespeople standing together talking. One salesperson came over and asked if we needed help. We had quite a few questions because we were trying to match several pieces, but he quickly seemed to become annoyed. Before we were even finished, he said, "I'll just let you guys look around by yourselves," and walked away. My girlfriend and I both thought it was a strange interaction.
We decided to shop around at a few other stores before making a decision, but later returned because we wanted to purchase the chair we had looked at earlier.
When we came back, the group of salespeople was still gathered together, and they went to find the same salesperson who had helped us earlier. From the moment he came over, he acted like we were inconveniencing him. I said, "Hey, we decided to buy the chair we were looking at earlier!" Instead of greeting us or responding, he simply walked past us without saying a word. We looked at each other, confused, and assumed he wanted us to follow him.
Once we reached his computer, the interaction didn't improve. He seemed rushed and eager to get back to chatting with his coworkers. Throughout the purchase he repeatedly mistyped my name, address, and other information, requiring several corrections.
The first question I asked was about the price, since the exact chair was listed for $100 less on the company's website. He appeared visibly irritated by the question but eventually adjusted the price. I also mentioned the $50 coupon I received after signing up on the website. He immediately insisted it couldn't be used in the store and repeatedly told me the website and store had different promotions. I had already read the coupon carefully, and it specifically stated that it should be shown to an in-store representative. Once I showed him that, he reluctantly applied the discount.
The rest of the transaction was uneventful, although he barely acknowledged my girlfriend during the entire process. At the end, I had to make the effort to shake his hand before he immediately went back to socializing with the other salespeople.
I don't expect a salesperson to roll out the red carpet, but I do expect basic professionalism and a sense that my business is appreciated. We spent around $700, yet the entire experience felt like we were interrupting his day. We even considered asking for a different salesperson but decided to finish the purchase instead.
I'm excited about the chair we purchased and hope the product lives up to expectations, but the customer service left a lot to be desired and definitely put a damper on what should have been an enjoyable shopping experience.

We shopped at what we thought were more affordable competitors that would fit our limited budget. But the superior quality of the furniture at Ashley was obvious. Ashley had a great sale plus 0% financing. We found that it would fit our budget. I feel like we ended up with furniture that was much more beautiful, comfortable and would last longer. I feel like you get the most bang for your buck at Ashley Furniture.

Morris was great salesman to work with. I had a couple different projects in mind and he was quick to note what was in stock and what needed to be delivered at a later time. Unfortunately, when we went to pick up dresser at warehouse it was damaged so it needs to be delivered from another location. I won’t get my item today but in exchange the company offered to cover white glove delivery service on account of their error. Good customer service so far.

Was a very good experience! Very helpful & really cared to take care of us & made it very easy to make our decision! First time buying new living room furniture in my life & very please with our salesman Morris Whitaker! He greeted us @ the door, allowed us to look around & then come to him when we had questions! Wasn’t pushy (like some salesman can be) & he answered any questions & concerns we had! Overall was a GREAT experience & will definitely be referring & Ashley furniture to our friends!
