Ashley Store

JV was incredibly helpful and friendly while we were couch shopping. She listened to what we were aiming for and provided several helpful suggestions and alternatives. The store has a wide selection, which JV was very knowledgeable about. The prices are to be expected of a large furniture store (ie- higher than walmart/amazon), but JV helped us out there as well. 10/10 would ask for her again!

Terrible experience today. Went into the store to look for a particular piece of furniture I had seen on the Ashley furniture website. We were helped by a very nice worker, which was the only positive part of our experience. We asked if they could order the piece of furniture and we were told they might be able to. We went over to her computer so she could check. She also told us that sometimes they can price match but not always. I told her I have a truck and could haul it provided they would ship it to the store for the online price, since it was a piece of furniture from the company with which they’re associated. The real problem started here. I stood behind her computer as she searched for the product, which she promptly found, and the cost for them to purchase it and get it to their store was $353 and change. Now, I’m not stupid, I understand they have to make some kind of a profit, so I got my hopes up that since the online price was $699.99, almost $250 above their cost, that it was gonna work out. She punched in some numbers and said that they definitely could NOT do it for that price, but the cheapest they could sell it to us for was $847 and change!! We stood there stunned that they needed to make a whopping $494 PROFIT to accommodate customers! My wife and I left disgusted that we have a local business operating that appears to be THIS GREEDY! I have actually had local businesses in Paducah take a small loss to price match online products to build good customer bases, but this is completely ridiculous!! I will NEVER go anywhere near this store and urge the owners/managers to evaluate their business practices. Lastly, I will share that my family growing up in a smaller town in the area operated a high-end furniture business for about 30 years. We never ever charged this kind of markup to anyone, because we knew that having a good name was worth more than an inflated bank account.

Adrienne was wonderful and was so helpful in helping us find exactly what we needed and wanted . I changed my mind on her several times and she was always right there on board to help us out in anyway she could . She was even available to me after work hours & always replied quickly . We cannot wait to receive our furniture.

Elisia was SO kind, so professional, so helpful and personable. She got me a great deal, and helped me pick out the best pieces for us and our needs and price point. She made me feel so welcome and important in the store! Thank you!!

Doug was super helpful in helping us pick out the perfect sectional. He was not overbearing and allowed us to look around on our own, but was there to answer any questions that we had. It was the perfect shopping experience without feeling overwhelmed and nervous with someone breathing down your neck, with still having someone there to help us in any way we needed!
