If you’re looking to waste your money, visit Ashley Furniture in Troy. We purchased a bedroom set in store and paid for white glove delivery. After waiting approximately 4–6 weeks for the furniture to arrive, the delivery team completed the “white glove” service only for the bed to be assembled incorrectly and the dresser to arrive damaged. That evening, we realized the bed was not put together properly. I called the store the next day and spoke with Hugh, who was fantastic. Although he couldn’t resolve the issue immediately, he promised to escalate it to a manager as soon as one was available. He followed through on that promise, and Evan, one of the owners, called me. Unfortunately, Evan was extremely unprofessional throughout the entire situation. I requested to return the bedroom set due to the improper installation and the compromised integrity of the bed. Evan repeatedly stated that returning it would result in a 25% restocking fee, despite the issues being caused by their delivery team. After going back and forth, I reluctantly agreed to let them attempt to fix the bed. Evan came out to repair it, but within 14 hours, the bed broke again. By this point, we had been dealing with this for days and had spent yet another night sleeping on the floor with our luxury Purple mattress. I called the store again, and they offered either to “rig” the bed frame (which is unacceptable after spending thousands on a new set) or process a return. I ultimately returned the set, which is what I wanted to do from the beginning. I do not recommend purchasing any bedroom sets from Ashley Furniture in Troy. Evan was highly unprofessional and consistently threatened a restocking fee, even when the problems were clearly due to the negligence of their delivery team.

Loved my experience here! Came in for an ottoman and was greeted immediately :) I was not pressured or followed around the store like other furniture companies! I couldn't find what I was looking for but was able to have them order me one online for ship to store where it could be inspected before i pick it up! They even honored the price it said online even though it was $120 price difference on their end! Highly recommend this place they are friendly..super attentive but not overwhelming and I loved the experience overall!

Our experience at the Ashley Furniture Store could not have been better. No high pressure sales, no cheap sales gimmicks, just honest plain-talking sales folks. Our rep, Hugh, was perfect for. He showed us our options, then backed out. Just the way we like it

Catherine was my sales person and she was very nice and patient with us. However I received my furniture at the end of April and the couch arrived broke which they did reorder me a new one. Also the chair is already coming apart and I am still waiting on them to come fix it.

No pressure shopping is what I like. So many furniture stores attack you as soon as you walk through the store. Ashley’s in Troy were attentive but not overbearing. Hugh was great. He remembered my name and face 2 weeks after my initial visit. He was pleasant to work with. Very patient with me as I was FaceTiming my daughter for help with colors. (I’m a little color blind) Hugh was patient, gave me space and time to make sure I was able to think through my decision. Gave me thorough information on pricing. Made sure to communicate specific details to the furniture builders as there was a unique request. Thank Hugh and the Ashley team of Troy, OH.
