Bob's Discount Furniture and Mattress Store

First time going there, was looking for a new couch with the family. Didn’t even really plan on buying anything this trip. Just wanted a feel for prices and expectations. Was greeted by a gentlemen named Mike. Who introduced himself, showed us how to read the prices for the set and individual items, and said to ask if we had any questions and then let us look around ourselves. Which I appreciate, because I dislike being hounded by salesmen. Perused the store, ended up finding one we liked for our price range. Went back to Mike with a couple of questions about color, how shipping would work, protection plans in case my children damage it, etc. Still wasn’t sure I was prepared to spend money that day, but Mike made me aware of their 12 month, interest free card you can sign up for. Where I wasn’t sure I wanted to drop the full amount, with the card I could drop half and work on the rest over time. At this point I had to pull the trigger. Overall it was a painless, quick process. Beautiful store. And excited about the new couch! Thanks! Side note: They have amazing rugs there. My kid couldn’t stop playing/laying on one for the furniture demo’s. After trying it myself, I’m probably going to go back and get one.

We went to Bob’s Furniture looking to buy a mattress and were initially helped by Chad. At the beginning, he was polite and helpful and let us try a few mattresses. Everything was going fine and we were very close to making a purchase. However, at the very end of the transaction, we were told that the mattress warranty would be voided if we used our existing box foundation (the piece that sits under the mattress). This was never mentioned upfront and only came up right before we were about to buy, which felt misleading and frustrating. We were also informed of a $109 delivery fee, which wasn’t an issue at all, but the warranty detail should have been clearly explained much earlier. We told Chad we wanted to think about it. At that point, his attitude completely changed. He became visibly frustrated, wouldn’t look at us when we said we will think about it and come see you, and walked outside to smoke a cigarette. That was extremely unprofessional. We walked next door to Gardner White, where we were treated amazingly. The staff was friendly, patient, and respectful, and we ended up buying a mattress from them instead. We were fully prepared to spend over $1,000 at Bob’s Furniture, but Chad definitely missed that sale. We won’t be returning to see Chad again

George was a down to earth salesman. Very easy to talk to, laugh with and very helpful. Bonus to our visit.....Elvis (the manager) was in the house! Would definitely recommend anyone to go there. A great group of guys!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile. I was looking for some accent decorations and although my sales associate, Zabrina was nearby to answer questions she let me walk around and look until I was ready to purchase. I highly recommend Bob’s Discount Furniture whether you are looking for furniture or accessories. I also recommend asking for Zabrina, she’s great to work with.

Our salesmen were great!! Micheal and Jeff were wonderful. We avoided the sales staff that were sitting and on their phones. The chair we went in to get was discontinued. Jeff reached out to the manager, Elvis and he made it worth our while to but the floor model. We will DEFINITELY be going back to do future business at this store, with these gentlemen.
