Bob’s Discount Furniture and Mattress Store

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Bob’s Discount Furniture on St. Charles Rock Road in St. Ann. I purchased a large sectional and paid extra for delivery, setup, and the extended warranty. My delivery was pushed back by two weeks, which was frustrating but understandable. To make installation easier, I completely cleared out my living room before the delivery team arrived. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. The delivery crew took a long time to assemble the sectional, then rushed out the door, mumbling something about needing to get to their next appointment. Once they left, I discovered that several sections of the couch were not properly locked together and one of the corner pieces had a significant depression/defect in it. Getting help from customer service was a complete nightmare. I spent nearly three hours on the phone before finally being allowed to speak with a supervisor. After reviewing my photos, they agreed there was a manufacturing defect and ordered a replacement corner piece. Today was the replacement appointment. The scheduled arrival window was 2:45 PM to 5:00 PM. Nobody showed up. After multiple calls to customer service, I was told at 6:40 PM that the delivery team would arrive at 6:20 PM. Yes, you read that correctly. The communication was completely ridiculous. Because of the delay, I had to ask my son to come sit at my house and wait for the technicians because I had a previously scheduled engagement that required me to leave by 6:00 PM. When I returned home tonight, I discovered that the replacement piece had once again been installed incorrectly. The sectional is still not properly locked together. At this point, I’m afraid to even sit on my couch because I don’t want to damage it further. I paid for delivery. I paid for setup. I paid for the warranty. Yet I still don’t have a properly assembled couch. The furniture quality, installation quality, customer service, scheduling, and communication have all been incredibly disappointing. I expected far better from a company this large. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before spending your money here.

We haven't had the furniture delivered yet (that's 7/1/26) so maybe I will come back with pics. But the experience was great. Low pressure sales. Great selection of sectionals with different configurations and a decent selection of materials. The prices were really reasonable too. Nick, our sales rep, was super helpful and knowledgeable. If he didn't have an answer he got it. They also have a nice free snack bar area with coffee and other stuff. Glad we went there.

Bob's furniture is so tasteful and beautiful. They have a wonderful selection of furniture. They also have a wheelchair available for customers to use. The quality of the items I purchased was good. Our salesman was outstanding.

I had the best experience with Terrance at the St. Ann store. He gave me the opportunity to browse the store and answer all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable about the products and very patient with me. Terrance was a great help with my decision making. I'm very excited for my new furniture to arrive!

Bobs discount furniture always delivers great stuff & great prices. Staff are extremely friendly and it does not feel like a high pressure sales situation. We worked with Si to order a tv stand and sectional, and he was really helpful in explaining delivery options and helping us choose the right furniture and schedule delivery. We will definitely be back for any future furniture needs. White Glove delivery is a must for any large furniture orders!!! Great service, quick setup, and they will remove all trash/boxes and assemble any required pieces.
