Bob’s Discount Furniture and Mattress Store

We went to Bob’s in search of new beds for our growing twins. We were approached by Ogusta, who was very patient and knowledgeable. She was not pushy and in our face to make a sale. She gave us the space and opportunity to walk the floor. After walking the bedroom section of the showroom, we were not happy with the limited stock. We did see 2 pieces that fit what we were looking for. To get some alternative, we left the store and went elsewhere, and after careful consideration we went back. We went back to Ogusta, and asked to look at the 2 options we liked. After a few minutes, she sold us on our first choice. We ordered the 2 beds, and now we await the delivery. It was an overall good experience.

Overall, I had a good experience with Bob’s Discount Furniture because their customer service is outstanding. Every time I contacted them about an issue, they were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. They never gave me a hard time and were always willing to repair or replace the furniture. I truly appreciate that. That said, my experience with the wooden furniture was disappointing. Almost every replacement arrived with a different defect—small dents, paint flaws, or wood imperfections. None of the issues were major, but after several exchanges, I realized it was very difficult to receive a completely flawless piece. Eventually, I decided to keep the items with the smallest imperfections because I was simply tired of exchanging furniture. On the other hand, my sofas arrived in perfect condition, and most of my rugs were also great. So this review is specifically about my experience with some of the wooden furniture, not everything I purchased. If you value excellent customer service, I would absolutely recommend Bob’s. Their team was always respectful and helpful. However, if you’re very particular about cosmetic perfection in wood furniture, you may want to inspect your items carefully upon delivery or consider a retailer with stricter quality control. Overall, the furniture is beautiful, the prices are fair, and the customer service is excellent. I just wish the quality control on some of the wood pieces matched the level of service.

I had a great experience at this furniture store. ( I was there on April 13 2026 to by couches and Living room table) Anne, the sales associate was incredibly friendly and patient throughout the entire process. They gave us plenty of space to browse without feeling pressured, which made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. Whenever we had questions, they were attentive and helpful without being pushy. It’s refreshing to shop somewhere that truly values customer experience. I’d definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for quality furniture and excellent service.

This was not a very pleasing experience, and if I had not been on a tight timeline for my purchase, I would have taken my business elsewhere. About 95% of the staff was sitting down while my friends and I browsed for couches. The sales associate who greeted us at the door followed behind us without offering any meaningful assistance. Eventually, I found a couch that caught my eye, but three sales associates were seated on the two display variations of the model. Despite us standing nearby discussing the couches, dimensions, and color options, none of them got up to offer us a seat or help answer questions. At that point, I was ready to leave without making a purchase. However, I decided to get clarification on the different couch lengths, so I tracked down the original sales associate who had greeted us. The moment I stood near the couches and started discussing purchase details, the staff suddenly scattered and became attentive. Throughout the browsing process, no one seemed willing to help, but everyone was all smiles once it was time to complete the sale.
