The store is worked by a knowledge staff who assist you in trying their products and finalizing a bed that meets all your individual needs. Many options for mattresses, frames and headboards. Firmness levels are adjustable or based on the mattress you select. Trying out the beds is clearly more precise than simply ordering on line.

From the moment I walked into the Saatva showroom on Post Street, I felt welcomed and at ease. Sharon F. was an outstanding guide—warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. She walked me through the features of the Solaire Mattress with clarity and care, taking the time to demonstrate how the Upper-Flex King base operates and answering every question I had without rushing or overselling. What stood out most was her genuine hospitality—offering water, creating a calm environment, and making the entire experience feel personal and pressure-free. Thanks to her thoughtful guidance, I confidently purchased the Solaire Mattress with the Upper-Flex King base, and I couldn’t be more excited about the upgrade. Saatva has an impressive, large, clean and well-lit showroom in SF. They go to great lengths to demonstrate their dedication to good hygiene in a space open to the public. We were immediately greeted by Tsehay, who was knowlegeable, patient, informative and pleasant throughout the process of identifying the best bed for our particular needs. She also provided us with fair pricing options and went to bat for us in scheduling the entire process going forward. Her approach was anything but "pushy salesperson." We have continued to be impressed by the communications we have had with all Saatva reps during the delivery scheduling process. Very professional and attentive.

The Saatva representative Sharon was informed, pleasant and provided a helpful overview of Saatva beds. I’d done the research on their beds, but no amount of research replaces the tactile part of laying on a bed to see how it feels. With absolutely no pressure, Sharon suggested that my wife and I lay on each of the three levels Saatva offers: Plush, Luxury Firm and Firm. We appreciated that while Sharon setup the beds for us to try, she gave us privacy when we tried them out and briefly talked through our thoughts. Based on everything I’d read, I was reasonably sure that Luxury Firm would be our selection, but after trying them, we instead picked Plush. I had questions about the Plus Adjustable Frame which Sharon fully answered. For example, seeing how the Plus Adjustable Frame fit inside a standard king bed frame as well as viewing a split-king bed’s head and foot areas being independently adjusted was satisfying. Once the type of bed and frame were selected (Classic Split King with Plus Adjustable Frame), we asked about pillows, sheets and a mattress pad cover. Sharon knowledgeably discussed Saatva’s offerings and we made our selection. Sharon put the deal together and gave us a significant discount. She verified our phone, email and address and explained when to expect delivery and who would be delivering. The time we spent getting there (about 1 hour) and the service we received was well worth it. My final question was: What is the origin of the name Saatva? I wasn’t sure she’d know, but I was wrong! Sharon said that Saatva is inspired by the Sanskrit word sattva, which means goodness, purity, wholeness and truth. It was a fitting end to a wonderful experience.
