Sleep Number

UPDATE: Sleep Number Lees Summit had the opportunity to provide good customer service by helping me with the corporate issues. They passed the buck. Certainly they could have called and helped me sort it out, or get prioritized service based on the circumstances. But here we are, the issue was mis-diagnosed AGAIN after waiting 3 additional weeks for a second service appointment. We'll see how long it takes for the 3rd appointment. The saga continues.... We love our bed. We also had a good sales experience with this location. We bought the dual flex fit base with the cooling feature a little over a year ago. The cooling feature broke - and the customer service department is not helpful. I waited 3 weeks for a repair appointment, the issue was mis-diagnosed so they needed to order a different part and now I'm waiting an ADDITIONAL 3 weeks for the repair. I understand mistakes happen, but 6 weeks for a repair on a LUXURY item is unacceptable. I was told by the service techs that our repair would be prioritized since it was a mis-diagnosis (and I'm 5 months pregnant) and that I would receive a call to get it scheduled. I waited 5 days, no call. When I finally called them, there were no notes or anything about the original appointment. Also was told there's no such thing as 'prioritzing' appointments. If the service department is always booking 3 weeks out, the product either breaks a lot or they need to double the staff. Don't sell luxury products if you can't back it up with good service. Sleeping in a broken bed for 6 weeks is unacceptable.

Michael C and the Lee's Summit team made (what could have been) a stressful, expensive purchase, smooth, reasonable and pleasant. Never at any point did we feel pressured to buy. Michael is personable, has the knowledge and industry experience that left us feeling confident and comfortable with our choice.

Poor customer service. Our daughter has been trying for over 6 weeks to get her bed fixed and there had been one delay after another. She has talked to no less than 10 people , most act like they don't give a crap spot helping an existing customer!

Michael and Tim both provided excellent customer assistance with our purchase. We appreciated Michaels patient, calm manner in showing up the different options. Tim took the time to answer my purchase questions and followed up on everything he said he would. We look forward to getting our new bed and better rest.

All employees were very friendly and helpful. We have had a sleep no. For long time 26 or 27 years just got new pillows and mattress. Can’t wait for them to get here!! Thank you!!
