American Mattress

4/24/26- Apparently the store is closed now. 3 weeks ago they told me they would call about delivery when the store reopened in 2 weeks. I’m starting to wonder if it ever reopened at all. I will be disputing this charge on my credit card. 4/3/26- Went in about 6 weeks ago and bought a mattress and box springs. Had a delivery date set. They called ONCE to let us know that the box springs wasn’t in yet and they would call as soon as a new delivery date could be set. Tried calling them, no answer. No call back. Went today in person and found a note on the door stating the store was temporarily closed! So now I’m waiting for a call back from the 1-800 number they left on the sign.

The salesperson Vince was very helpful and pointed us to the perfect memory foam mattress. We took it home a Nectar within 5 minutes of paying as their Plainfield branch had in stock. It’s a great bedding thank you!

I needed new mattress for my new apartment, went to American mattress and everything was so so good. The price was cheaper compared to other stores. The reception was awesome. Vince really helped and guide me with different options. I will surely choose American mattress over and over again.

I shopped with Vince and he made the experience very simple and quick. I was in and out within 30-45 minutes having purchased a bed. I did not feel pressured to buy at all and his whole process was comprehensive and informative when it came to describing the mattresses. I appreciated his candor and hospitable conversation throughout the interaction.

Vince was fantastic, so much so that I purchased a king bed set with adjustable base. I had priced a bed elsewhere and was telling my sister I was going to go buy it. She told me about her experience with Vince after a poor experience at another store. I spoke with Vince on the phone he answered all my questions and was able to get me a much better deal. I will be back and send others to Vince anytime the need arises.
