So my husband has been wanting a new mattress for a while and we were looking to make our first big mattress purchase in our lives. The store is very clean and Adam who helped us out was friendly, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable. We did go in knowing that we wanted a Purple mattress, but he helped compare to others as well to be sure we were making the best purchase for ourselves. He spent quality time with us without rushing or pushing and excused himself to help others in the meantime. We happily obliged so my husband and I could discuss things. When he returned again he was never pushy and gave us lots of payment options for our situation. We can only afford the mattress if we get a work bonus, but we don't know if it's coming in yet. So we wanted to shop but can't guarantee any purchase until it comes through. Adam understood entirely so that put us at ease. We did end up locking in our price due to the last day of the New Year sale and were very excited about our potential purchase. I want to share that additionally we went back in later because we found out that the Purple website was offering a slightly higher discount. We went back in to discuss this with Adam and see what, if anything, he could do... Without hesitation and a smile on his face he gladly adjusted our price total to match the online Purple pricing. We went ahead and added a few things as well so it was about the same amount, but the value was fantastic! While the store itself is not super big, you can't ask for a more amiable employee and I'll take that over selection any day. I HIGHLY recommend making your mattress purchase with Adam at this American Mattress because you know he's got your back, you're getting the best deal, and you're making the best purchase from a knowledge manager!

Adam is a fantastic manager and sales employee to work with. My wife and I went in knowing we probably wanted a Purple mattress but were open to options. Adam set us up, gave us some great introductory information then left us alone to discuss amongst ourselves (we loved that). He was highly knowledgeable about Purple mattresses and I know my wife especially appreciated the education (she's an information based buyer). He also humored our questions comparing to other brands to be sure this is the purchase that was best for us. I particularly appreciated Adam's flexibility and low pressure presentation of our payment options. I'm not sure if I'll be receiving a work bonus, and without it cannot make the purchase, but Adam helped set us up with a way to lock the sale price in and that was a main factor in us leaving happy. Most importantly, he was incredibly cooperative when my wife had questions because the manufacturer website had lower discounts. We popped back into the store and he graciously and happily adjusted the price for us. We would HIGHLY recommend American Mattress Whitestown to any family or friend and especially to work with Adam. It was one of the best and chill interactions I've had with a sales employee and it made making such a large purchase easier. **We'll update final purchase and delivery as we go.

Well I wish we could be one of the many positive reviews of this place. Unfortunately our experience post sale has been very disappointing. We were working with the manager Chris who was helpful and personable during the shopping process so we decided to move forward on a tempurpedic mattress with an adjustable base. The problems started post sale once they had our 5 grand…We were told that it would take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to get the mattress/base in and then delivered to us. After 2 1/2 weeks we started to call for updates to see if they had heard anything. We were told twice by the manager Chris that we should have an answer on “X day, and I’ll let you know” well those days came and went with no communication from her. After this happened twice, my wife went in person to inquire the status and was told that she will be in contact with her district manager and call us on Friday with answers. Well surprise surprise Friday came and went with no phone call or any updates. We’re nearly a month out from initial purchase of our 5 grand mattress and not a single piece of information on where our bed/mattress is. The post sale experience is atrocious and the employees need to be more communicative and honest about what’s going on. It feels like once they have your money they couldn’t care less.

My wife and I had a great experience with American Mattress in Whitestown. Adam was super helpful in walking us through our options. We came in having done our own research on what we wanted. He presented us with the options and got out of the way (in a good way!). He answered our questions when we had them, pointed out other specifics and provided additional details and info, and he wasn’t overly sales-focused or pushy when it came time for our decision. We’re still awaiting delivery of our mattress and frame, and are very pleased and excited by our experience the service provided this far!
