Came in, saw the employee sitting back at the desk in a reclining position, his feet up on the desk. Looking at his phone. Didn't look up. Didn't greet me. I walked around to look at the stock. Tried a couple mattresses. Employee remained in same position looking at phone. As if I wasn't there. After about 8 minutes of being ignored, I left.

View on GoogleWorst sales experience ever. Aaron, the sales manager, is terrible. Tried to talk me OUT of the mattress I came in to buy. I have bought all our mattresses from American Mattress, but I will not go back to Vernon Hills. When I tried to share my disappointment with him, he told me to have a good day. Zero customer service. Save yourself a trip.
View on GoogleWell, that good review didn’t last long. American Mattress was supposed to call me the day before my delivery and never did. When I called to ask about the timeframe, they told me there was a delay and that they would be in touch the next week. Still, no one called me. I called again to follow up, and they told me it would be at least another week. They also kept saying how it was out of their control. Today, we found out that the mattress is actually an older version that may be sold out and that the order was never actually placed. So . . . you took my money, never communicated, and lied about the issue? And this is how you treat repeat customers? The corporate manager, Eric, was outrageously rude and took no accountability. Please take your business elsewhere. I had such a great experience with Leo! He was so friendly, and he was able to get me exactly what I needed quickly and at a great price. Couldn’t be happier!
