Avocado Green Mattress - Natural & Organic Mattresses - Pasadena

UPDATE: Please see that 'Avocado' replied on my review to contact them - I did - numerous times.... Eventually the store I ordered the mattress from got them to replace the wrinkly mattress. Well, the replacement was worse right out of the bag, so I refused the mattress... So...... it appears, that the anomaly is the actual mattress that looks like their ad. Don't figure that what you're going to get looks like their ad. And if it doesn't, you are stuck. I see that another purchaser has a very sinking mattress that Avocado recommended getting a topper for... which doesn't solve the problem. They also recommended that for mine - my mattress has a built in topper! The bed is not uncomfortable, but when you have 2 sides that are not alike, you expect more from such a big purchase - I was not willing to have two wrinkly mattresses put together. I want was/is advertised. Beware!! Ordered a split king and the two pieces did not match (I was told it would 'fluff' up - I should've refused the order). After back and forth with company for a month to get the one side replaced they denied based on 1/4". They said the difference was not enough to warrant a replacement. Even with a comforter you can see the difference. It will look even worse with my summer coverlet. These photos are at 1 month old mattress. I did not order at this location but from an authorized retailer. Avocado does not make it easy to leave a review.

This was such a beautiful location and the workers were so nice and knowledgeable! I left the store confident in buying my mattress! I cannot wait for it to arrive. I ended up going with the plush avocado green mattress and I’m super excited about it! Also, make sure you try those side sleeper pillows. I can’t wait to start sleeping on them.

So this review a bit incorrect as the staff and Avocado experience quite excellent. At least before you make your purchase. My bed sags like a 25 year old mattress (less than 2 years old). About 8 months into owning the bed, I came in to ask about it, and left after spending another couple grand on a topper. Now the sagging is just more obvious to the naked eye. Honestly the Avocado bed-frame is most likely the culprit. My entire bed cost over $12000 and it is far from amazing. You can do better and they can do better. I’ve spent the last few months emailing with Aura (a return specialist) just to realize they don’t give a crap. They know their product isn’t that great. Apparently this new mattress needs to sink several inches!! before it can be returned. I have never had a new mattress sink and sag (be it a one worth thousands or $150). Their bed frame (which isn’t well made, shifts and creaks when you sit on it and creates that rigidity along the center which makes both halves of the bed sag) is not returnable. I thought that spending extra money on a eco mattress would make me feel like we were sleeping on a cloud. Don’t believe the hype. Definitely get your bed frame elsewhere. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Bad experience.

I really wanted an avocado mattress for my dorm room and i was lucky enough to connect with Lucinda who was so helpful and kind! I am yet to get my mattress topper but if it’s anything like its employees I’m sure it will be amazing!!

Went into the store on Colorado Blvd and had a great experience. We had to replace all our mattresses due to smoke damage from the recent wildfires. Love the organic materials they use. The store is so inviting and we got to test the mattresses in person. Lucinda answered all our questions and helped us figure out the best options and best value for each family member. There was a sale going on and we got an excellent discount! And they gave us tasty kombucha.
