Bob’s Discount Furniture and Mattress Store

Rating 3 out of 5 because I’ve purchased three other large home furnishings from Bob’s before this fourth item, and until now I’ve had a good experience. But unfortunately, this purchase of two drawer chests has been very disappointing. One of the items became faulty within just two months, which is unacceptable at this price point ~$800 (with goof protection and delivery). For furniture that is marketed and priced as quality, I expected much better durability. Dealing with Bob’s main customer support text line regarding the factory warranty has been extremely frustrating. Their initial solution was to send me a replacement part that I cannot install myself; and then proceeded to inform me it wouldn’t arrive for another three months. That is not a reasonable or practical resolution for a defective product. I had to keep insisting, before they agreed, to send a technician. Otherwise, it felt like they would have brushed me off. We’ll see what the technician says in the next few days, but given the mediocre quality of this piece and the high price paid, on top of the run around for warranty, I am not very satisfied at this point.

I recently shopped for a sleeper sofa and chair at the Brea Bob’s store and had a wonderful experience; Guillermo was extraordinarily helpful. I went in looking for a particular set, but discovered it was not the right firmness for my needs. He showed me a number of other types and styles and was incredibly patient with my hemming and hawing over fabrics and colors, encouraged me to take my time and make sure I was comfortable with my choice. I am delighted with the sofa I chose and am happy to wait for the time it will take to get my choice of color. I will absolutely be a return customer and highly recommend this store.

My husband and I came to purchase a small chair for my living room. I already had one and decided to get the matching chair. We were greeted by a very nice young sales man (Sid). He answered all my questions and went above and beyond to help.

Went in was greeted by Bianca. She was amazing. She understood that we were only looking around the first day we walked in. If we had any questions she was there to answer them. We did tell her we were going to go other places to look and would definitely be in contact with her once we made our decision. We texted her the next day with our decision, and she was more then happy to us when we came back in to make our purchase. She was very helpful with the entire process. We will be shopping there in the future.

My experience here at Bob's discount furniture was delightful. As soon as I walked in Bianca the sales associate was very prompt and polite. She gets 5 stars and I'll come back just to see her again 🤟🏽🙏🏻
