Bob’s Discount Furniture and Mattress Store

I was on a mission to find a recliner to take home the same day and I walked into the store and was greeted by Daniel F. who was very nice. I told him I was looking for a recliner to take home and he showed me one that was marked down on clearance and it just so happened to work perfectly for my needs even though I wasn't looking for a power recliner but it was just to nice to pass up on. I purchased it with a 5 year warranty because of it being powered and got it loaded up with Daniel's help and it was appreciated. I would suggest having more furniture that can be purchased and taken at that moment. Consider a clearance room of furniture that can be purchased and taken now. Thank you

I had an absolutely great experience with Bob’s Furniture and felt it was worth taking the time to leave a detailed review. From the moment I walked into the store, Charles Davis was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful without being pushy or rushed. He took the time to understand what I was looking for, my space, and my budget, which made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. The showroom was clean, well-organized, and easy to walk through, with plenty of options on display. I appreciated how clearly everything was priced—no hidden fees or confusing add-ons—which made decision-making much easier. The salesperson answered all of my questions honestly and gave helpful suggestions without trying to upsell me on things I didn’t need. The quality of the furniture really stood out. Everything felt solid, well-made, and stylish, with a great range of options whether you’re looking for something modern, cozy, or classic. I ended up finding exactly what I needed, and the ordering process was smooth and straightforward.

We bought from Bobs when we lived in Massachusetts (where they originate) and always found them to be high quality. When we found that a store was opening near us in Illinois we were delighted. Unfortunately, their products are now held together by hopes, dreams, shims, glue and not much else. Supportive beams for a bed should not look like this on the inside (see picture). This was a nearly $800 bed.

I had a fantastic experience at Bob's in Orland Park. PJ did an incredible job walking us through our entire order. He was extremely thorough regarding the furniture removal and the white glove service, making sure we knew exactly what to expect. I usually skip protection plans when ordering online, but PJ explained the value so well that I felt confident adding it this time. If you’re heading in, I highly recommend asking for PJ.

Jim was very helpful. We family bought an entire house of furniture in less then an hour. Would definitely going back if we need to buy furniture again. Lots of nice prices items. When you go in ask for Jim.
