I purchased a speed queen washer from Tate three years ago. The fill valve stuck and flooded my garage. I had a warranty, they referred me to Combs Appliance. Repair. He claimed he would be able to repair it within 3 weeks. We hired someone else an paid for the repair and took care of the water damage. We purchased a GE dryer from tate around the same time. 3 years in and it will no longer heat. We called Tate to see if it was under warranty. They said no so we purchased another one from Lowe's. We also purchased a Frigidaire fridge this past year from tate fingers crossed. I personally will never give them another dime. Great to deal with on the sale. Less than acceptable after.

A couple of days ago I left a one star review due to issues with the extended warranty I purchased from Famous Tate when I bought my Frigidaire range 3 yrs ago. I filed a claim on Dec. 8 regarding a non-functioning control panel that operated the oven. It was a long and complicated process, and each step they would wait a few days before responding to what info I emailed to them. By Dec 20 when no service appt had been made and no one from the service company had even called, I posted a negative review for Famous Tate who sold me the extended warranty that said Allstate, but actually is Square Trade, a company owned by Allstate.
The day I posted the review I received a response stating the matter was being turned over to their customer service dept to try to expedite my repair. I was in a panic as I needed to do Christmas baking and expecting company for Christmas Day dinner. This morning Lisa from customer service called me at 8:30 and said a Famous Tate service tech would be headed my way within the hour. They arrived, repaired my oven and were done by 10:30. I won't even get into what happened with the Square Trade service company.
Due to the quick response to my review and the speed of getting a tech out to do the repair, I deleted my earlier review and changed it from a 1 star to a 5 star that should be 10 stars. Lisa was so kind and helpful, and the 2 techs were so polite and professional.
With that being said, if you buy an extended warranty on an appliance from them and have to file a claim, reach out to them if the warranty people are dragging their feet. I can attest to how they will jump in to help get it resolved. Now I can bake like crazy in time for Christmas.
Thank you, Famous Tate, for a nice Christmas gift of great customer service.

Famous Tate will always be my go to store. I bought a dishwasher online and didn’t like it after it was installed. I called the service dept and they did everything to help me. I went into the store to pick a replacement dishwasher and Bill was amazing, helped me pick out a better quality dishwasher to meet my needs. He also called me to make sure I’m happy with everything. Thank you Bill and everyone at Famous Tate!

Our washing machine malfunctioned, prompting me to request that my wife visit the establishment to purchase a new Speed Queen washer. However, the salesman informed me that I was mistaken ( “NO YOU ARE NOT”), as the Speed Queen washers were currently unavailable due to a six to eight-week order wait.
Upon contacting my wife, I embarked on a search for an alternative solution. I reached out to the same appliance store in a different location, inquiring about the model we had initially considered. Unfortunately, they did not have that specific model in stock, but they did have three units of a similar model available. This model offered a slightly higher price point but a more comprehensive warranty.
I then returned to my wife and informed the salesman that if he had any of the model the other location had in stock, he would be pleased to assist us. Unfortunately, he denied any availability, stating that the Tampa store did not have any in stock. Despite this setback, I persisted in my efforts and contacted the Tampa store again. After a brief search, they confirmed that they did have any units available.
Despite these challenges, I was able to secure a delivery date for our new washer on Friday. The salesman in the Spring Hill, FL was a "Richard" The individual’s incompetence in their job is evident, and their behavior towards the costumes is unacceptable. I will obtain your name and, upon my next visit, provide you with the invoice for my purchases.
