Morris Home Furniture and Mattress

This was our first time buying furniture from Morris Home Furniture and Mattress and what a great experience it was! We never felt pressured as we walked around the store looking for our next couch. The prices on all the furniture were comparable or better than other furniture stores we had been to earlier. John was amazing and not only explained the delivery process to us but he was also knowledgeable about furniture answering all of our questions. We ended up buying a sectional, at an outstanding price I might add, and having it delivered. Even the delivery process was seamless. We will definitely return whenever we need any furniture.

TL;DR - Our custom sectional was not made correctly and their customer service has been a complete nightmare to deal with. Been without our furniture for over 4 months since they are "fixing it" and been given the runaround since day 1. NOT WORTH IT. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. 3rd UPDATE 7/29/25: Still do not have our couch that was ordered on Black Friday sale in November since they picked up the messed up end piece in March. They now have the corner piece that attaches because they told us after all this, they need that too to fix it. They've had the corner piece of the sectional for 3 weeks now and have had the original messed up piece for over 4 months with no updates given when it will be ready to deliver back to us. We still have no information on how they are going to compensate us. Making payments every month on furniture that we don't have is extremely frustrating. If you have any issues at all, they are the absolute worst to deal with. 2nd UPDATE: Well it's been another 4 weeks since we went in person to talk to them. We've heard nothing still since then even though they were supposed to "rush ship" the replacement. Nearly 3 months since they picked up the incorrect piece to replace it and nothing so far. Back to 1 star on my review. Also, of course in the response to this review they say to email their super unhelpful customer service which is what I obviously tried first and won't be doing again. UPDATE: Although we still don't have the piece after over 2 months, my husband went in and talked to the store manager and she is taking over the issue herself and rush shipping the new piece. Turns out the online customer service people marked it as a return in the system and had we not gone into the store in person, we never would have gotten a replacement. Overall, their customer service is terrible online, but if you walk into the store you can actually get help from them. Our custom sectional was delivered and one of the pieces was cut incorrectly at the connection point and didn’t fit in line with the other pieces. The process to get this replaced has been a nightmare. They picked it up over a month ago and say that they are trying to repair it. First, I don’t know how you “repair” an incorrect cut. You can’t uncut something you just have to re-make it. For paying over $4,000 for brand new furniture, I don’t want something refurbished. I was originally told up to 2 weeks to get the new piece and it’s been well over a month now with no updates of when it will be ready. I have reached out multiple times via email and they keep responding with it isn’t ready yet and we will contact you when it is ready to be delivered. This is absurd. The picture is shown to show how when the connection points are lined up the back of the couch is offset by a couple inches at least. Customer service has refused to give us any discount for the additional time that we have been without the items we paid for.

Beverly at store 46 on Gemini Parkway assisted my search for furniture. I was on a time schedule. I told her what type of sofa I needed and she took me to 5 different areas. She sent photos to my husband because I had left my phone at home. It was the fastest and best time I have had at a furniture store. There is so much to look at, touch, and feel, at Morris. Beverly is exceedingly knowledgeable and helpful. The furniture I decided on is well made in the Carolina’s. Delivery was the best!

Leah Ayres did an amazing job for us. Shopping for bedroom suite and headboard. Customizing the head board we went thru 16 samples and she was so patient. Answered all of our questions! For only being in sales for 7months she was delightful to work with. She helped with the design of the headboard and pointed out helpful tips. Would definitely be a repeat customer of Leah.

Hunter was great with just the right balance of patience and persistence! He and his co-workers even stayed late to make sure all of our needs were met! We will definitely be returning to Morris in the future, not just for their quality furniture, but because of the excellent service we received!
