From the moment we stepped into the Brookfield showroom and was greeted by Tim Haglund the Interior Designer. We knew immediately we found the perfect furniture store! Tim is very knowledgable of each and every piece of furniture in that store. He spent time on helping us pick the great room furniture for our new home in Wisconsin. He was very helpful, and answered all our questions. He explained the construction and the seating in each piece of furniture we sat in that day! From start to finish our experience was exceptional with Penny Mustard but it was even better because we worked with a true professional that loves what he does and believes in First Class Service! Thank you Tim Haglund you made furniture buying an enjoyable process!!

Our sales Rep Alena was outstanding from the beginning to the end of our transaction. She came to our home, got a feel for our room and style and helped us with personalized options to fit our room perfectly. Her professionalism, knowledge and ability to pick all the right fabrics and colors was top notch!

Alena was incredible to work with today! She looked at our family room floor plan to help us select furniture that complimented the space. She spent so much time helping us to make decisions from sofa and recliner style, to fabric types to wood finishes, that I know we will be happy with for many years to come! We are really pleased with our Smith Brothers furniture from Penny Mustard. After 14 years, we had the seat cushions replaced and was only charged a $105 service fee. Tom the service contact person was great as was Ethan who provided the service. It looks and feels like new.

Update: We were pleasantly surprised to be contacted by the store. They were apologetic and offered to see what they could do to fix our chair and they did follow through. The chair was fixed in a way that was better than originally done. We are pleased with the chair, their kindness and understanding. Many thanks. (End of update)I realize we bought this chair at the clearance center,( not the store I am doing this review under, but there is no other choice)but we thought buying some dining chairs from Penny Mustard would mean some decent quality. We have had these chairs three years. Last night, my husband pushed his chair back and ended up on the floor. The front two legs collapsed. My husband does woodworking and said this is the worst workmanship he has ever seen. There is no glue, no screws, no nails. The legs are held on by three staples each. Had we known this, we could have just gone to IKEA. My husband wasn't hurt, but could have been. Even if these weren't made in the USA, we would expect Penny Mustard to buy furniture that wouldn't potentially hurt a person. Incidentally, this chair is rarely used, so it's not like it's been sat on everyday. I know this isn't for the store listed, but it is one in Wisconsin where we bought it.
