Purple - University Village

The staff are super kind and helpful, but they REALLY need to change their music! Hearing stale Top 40 songs, does not enhance my mattress shopping experience. If I'm lying down on a mattress, hearing "Tear In My Heart" is NOT gonna help me relax to get a feel for the product. Play some mellow lo-fi or something, that would enhance my mattress shopping experience.

My son and I were mattress shopping. As he was testing a mattress we were told to get off so another couple can sit on it. No questions if we liked it or if we were done. Not a word to us except "please get off so they can get on". We were sitting on the mattress for maybe 2 mins. Hate to bring race into it, but why weren't we treated like them? What does it take to be taken seriously as a prospective buyer?

Product was good, nice vibe, our durability tests were cut short by the big fella at the front, claimed he had a $10,000 bed, did not purchase.

We’re in the market for a new mattress, and it’s amazing how much mattress technology has evolved since we bought our last one 15 years ago — and how much our preferences have changed too. After trying a few traditional options, we stopped by our local Purple store to explore their innovative cooling mattresses. We were assisted by Emma, who was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process of choosing the right mattress (we ended up with the Restore Premier). She was knowledgeable and, most importantly, exceptionally patient—taking the time to answer all our questions, sometimes more than once. Emma struck the perfect balance of being attentive while also giving us the space and time to try out different options comfortably. Her professionalism and warm demeanor made the entire experience stress-free and genuinely enjoyable. We highly recommend working with her!

We had such a great experience with Jessie today. She was super knowledgeable and very caring. You can tell she actually cares about her job and wants you to get something that will make you happy and comfortable. She explained things so well and did not pressure us into buying anything. We went right before closing today and also last week and Jessie and her coworker (asian girl, I did not catch her name) were so welcoming and did not rush us at all. She also tried her best to get us the best deal that she could. I have never felt more taken care of in a store in my life. We’ve been to this purple store multiple times and every time we are there, there is no pressure to buy and everyone is always super friendly. If you are looking into trying out a purple mattress, definitely come here. The workers here actually want to help you find something that you’ll love.
