Sleep Number

My husband and I had an extraordinary experience, not once, but twice, at the Sleep Number store at Mayfair Collections, in Wauwatosa. Both times we worked with James. His kindness, customer care, communication, and capacity to really listen to customer needs is uncommon. The process included trying a number of beds, receiving education about features from James, learning the price structure based on features, etc. There was no pressure to make a quick decision, Once we did, the communication about timing and delivery was clear and the follow up excellent! Today, our new bed arrived! Here’s to better sleep and good dreams! Thank you, James!

My sister and I went to the sleep number store yesterday in Wauwatosa, we met James Birmingham-Parker the sales person that works at that store. Wow what a pleasure to have James help us looking at beds. He was so helpful and had so much patience with us. We took a lot of his time, but when we walked out of the store my sister and I said what a great sales person he was, and a KIND CARING individual!!! I would choose him any day! When we were leaving another couple came into the store and said how great James was and only wanted him to help them!!! Also the store was so nice, we definately will go back there and have James help us. Thank you, Cheryl

Customer service here is horrible!!! Was told by sleep number support to go into any sleep number store and they could handle the exchange of the bedding and I could pick it up there. Showed up and was immediately told I don’t know how to do that. You need to go to a different store. When asked if he could call anyone so they could help him he said no and that he told me what I could do. Called another store who was at least more informative telling me that no stores actually stock the mattress protectors. Information that would have been very helpful before wasting time even going to this awful store. This company has done nothing but lie about their product’s quality. How their products perform and pure inability to stand behind their products. Everyone do yourself a favor and find a different place to get a bed.

Sales experience was nice. Bed has been a nightmare for me since day 1. Started by emitting an off gassing that made me sick for about 2 months until winter passed and windows were opened. Imagine being a newlywed and unable to sleep in your new $6000 bed next to your wife. The air broke twice. They came out and replaced the entire mattress and same thing occurred. My wife thought maybe I’m exaggerating until she laid on my side. She called immediately after seeing how broken my side was! Now the mattress is so uncomfortable I can’t take it anymore. There is absolutely no comfortable setting. My number is supposed to be 35 but it just feels like a sunken air mattress. I’ve tried 40, 45, 50, 60 even 100. 100 is the only setting that doesn’t cause the mattress to slant to one side and make me feel like I’m falling off the bed. I’m awake now supposed to be sleeping but typing because I can’t sleep. I’m at wits end, aching because I’m so uncomfortable. I’m embarrassed because I’m the one who suggested trying a sleep number. After spending $6000 and after 3 years with this bed. I want to scream and cry at the same time! The photo shows how large the gap is from the bed to the headboard. Mine is more than double my wife’s.

Dana is amazing! I also love sleep #. I have only bought the pillows. The warranty is what keeps me coming back! Even though I haven’t returned anything. I went to verlo first, they have a Huge selection of pillows. The guy was kinda stiff. He told me they don’t take returns or exchanges. I asked what if I don’t sleep well? He said if it’s comfortable in the store it will be the same when you get home. I said “you never bought high heels then.🤣” So I went to “look” at sleep number and I got two new pillows that I love! It was like laying on a bed talking to an old friend. Dana made me feel so comfortable and didn’t push anything. Was very chill. I highly recommend her! Great customer service! My only complaint is they have a NFL pillow for display but they don’t sell any NFL(Packers) stuff. 😆
