Sleep Number

We were looking for a new mattress this Memorial Day weekend. Went to sleep number and mattress firm. Sleep number was far superior with cleanliness and service. Patrick was amazing! So helpful and informative. Really went the extra mile for us. Because of his service we went with sleep number! Can’t wait for our mattress to be delivered.

We've had a Select Number mattress for 16 years and love ours. Unfortunately, the polyfoam edges lost their spring. Naturally, we returned to Select Number for something new and upgraded. We chose the ClimateCool Smart Bed with a delivery date 10 days out. The bed was delivered missing 1/2 the base. Apparently, this bed is so integrated that a new 1/2 base can not be sent out. An entire new bed must be sent as a replacement. (Let us not quibble the fact that this highly integrated system left the warehouse missing a piece that now can not be found.) We are now waiting an additional 4 weeks for the replacement bed to be available for delivery and install. I could go on about the 2+ hours I spent with their "Specialists". Suffice to say, the 1-star is a compliment to their supervisors & case managers. Getting gas-lit by a representative was possibly the highlight of the calls. My hope is that your order is fulfilled correctly and you too spend 16 trouble-free years on your mattress. But, whoa be the traveler that needs Select Number customer service.

So I have a very mixed review of sleep number. First off, the person we talked to at this location was great, very helpful and spent a lot of time with us. Nothing but great things to say about her. Now, the issue I ran into was I originally purchased the base model adjustable base with the m7 mattress. After talking to a co-worker who just bought one they were quoted a lower price. Basically anytime you go into the store it’s the lowest sale price ever. But they do have better sales than others. I called the store and was told to change it I had to call customer service as too much time had lapsed. Called customer service and was on hold for one hour thirty seven minutes and then the line went dead. Needless to say I wasn’t in the best mood so I started researching complaints and found this is pretty common. Tried chatting online but that is a answering service and they redirect you to call. I then tried to cancel, but on hold again. While waiting on hold and researching I read the small print of the warranty. Basically the bed comes with a one year warranty and after that it is pro rated. Like the second year you own you pay 35% of the msrp for the part, the shipping and return shipping, and cost of the tech to come out if you need it. So the warranty is pretty much non existent after one year. After calming down and reading reviews on other beds I decided this is the normal for mattresses. I just took delivery of it and am happy so far as my wife and I like different softness. I would say if you go for the bed pass on the mattress covers and the extras. Also wait on the sale as they are all the time. Overall mixed, just alot if money to spend on a complicated bed for a one year warranty.

New owner (not yet received) of a Sleep Number dual king adjustable bed. WIth many sleeping problems related to musculoskeletal issues, I tried this company with the hope and expectation for better sleep. The process for choosing was easy and the choices are easy to understand. The decision is a big one and the cost not trivial. But the sales experience was enjoyable and having purchased a new bed, I am looking forward to better, deeper and less painful sleep.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit. Patrick was very nice and explained all the features of the mattress as well as answering our questions. Great job Patrick.
