Sitting outside of this location and wanted some information. The employee working was condensing and negative. The ONLY reason I have this store two stars is because of their location and the showroom floor had wide aisles. Customer service was a -1!!! I sold mattresses for years in the 90’s and this experience was the worst ever! Thank God I had my service dog with me or I could have had a panic attack!!!

BLUF: If you have an Original Mattress Factory mattress from an earlier time that you were satisfied with (for me that was 2002 and 2011) , you may not be happy with the product that you get today (for me that was 2020). MY STORY: I have purchased 3 mattresses from the OMF. First was in 2002 Orthopedic Luxury Firm D and it is a queen size. I use it for about 9 years and it hardly shows any wear. I still have it on a guest bed. It is a great mattress. I would rate it 5 stars. Second purchase was in 2011. I purchased an Orthopedic Ultra Plush California King. I used it for about 9 years and it too shows very little wear. I still have it on a guest bed. It is a great mattress. I would also rate this mattress 5 stars. The third mattress was purchased in Spring 2020. This was the very beginning of Covid. It is also an Orthopedic Ultra Plush and it is a King Size. This mattress I have a problem with. The first thing I notice about the mattress was in the store showroom, the sides of the box spring and sides of the mattress were not covered in the same material as the top and bottom of the mattress. It is obviously a cheaper material. Other than thinking that the OMF was starting to cut corners on quality of the side coverings, I thought no big deal. My previous mattresses (2002 and 2011) the material was the same on top, bottom and sides. Additionally, when I made my purchase, the associate had me sign a disclosure about how much of human body impression is acceptable for normal use and wear. I think the impression amount was a 1-inch impression. My previous purchases, I do not recall having to sign any such disclosure. I think the 2020 mattress came with 10-year warranty. The first-year full replacement if there was a problem that met their criteria for replacement and prorated for the additional years. I contacted OMF in the 11th month of ownership. I had more than a 1-inch body impression. I was told I could bring the KING SIZE mattress back to the store (YES! tote it back to the store!) and they would look at the body impression and cut it open to verify construction. So BOTTOM LINE is, NO I did not load the KING SIZE mattress in my truck and take it back to the store for inspection during the height of COVID. I very recently moved this mattress into my guest room, and I am now sleeping back on the 2011 mattress. The 2020 mattress looks worn out compared to both the 2002 and 2011 mattresses. It is noticeably less comfortable than the 2011 mattress. Full disclosure, I don't work in the factory, but from my experience the quality of materials used in manufacturing has changed and not for the better. I will not be buying a forth mattress from OMF. I will look at other options. I apologize for the length of my review, but everytime I see their commercial on TV it rekindles memories of experience.

View on GoogleMy husband and I were in the market for a new mattress and stopped by this location. The sales associate was great he educated us and helped us choose a very comfortable mattress. However, the mattress that was delivered feels absolutely NOTHING like the one we choose at the store. Its really hard and uncomfortable. Im so upset about this, as we were so excited for our delivery today. The mattress at the store was amazing but this one feels terrible. There is nothing that I can do about it because my old mattress is gone and Im basically out over 2k for mattress that I hate.
