American Factory Direct Furniture

The most pleasant experience in a furniture store I've ever had. Most places have people flying around you like gnats to try to push you to buy everything you look at, but that was not the case here. Val was who worked with us and she gave us time to look around but she told us where she would be if we had any questions. She was so nice, and that kind of response made us happy to talk about the things we were interested in down to color options. She was very informative and had the BEST personality. It didn't feel like a business transaction (aside form the big bill attached haha). Things were pricy, but its like that no matter wheere you go. The lights are not overly bright and everything is laid out in a way that makes sense unlike other places that feel like there's a maze where everything is split up. By the end of the visit, we were ready to make Val part of the family 🤣 she's an awesome sales lady and I hope everyone gets the pleasure of working with her and finding the perfect piece of furniture they're looking for. The delivery guys were even extremely nice and helpful. My grandmas old chair wore out so this one's getting use all day every day.

This showroom is stunning and has everything you need at a reasonable price. I walked in and was met by Val, an extremely knowledgeable and friendly sales person who did not making you feel pressured. She even followed up hours later after my delivery was made (Yes it worked out to be same day thanks to her hard work!) just to check in and make sure everything went OK. This is some old school customer service, which is extremely rare these days. I will definitely be back and AFD has an exceptional employee in her. Do yourself a favor and go visit their showroom on Aieline Hwy in Baton Rouge and ask for Val. You will not be sorry.

Cynthia, a salesperson, mentioned that she usually works at the Gonzales location. I was at their Baton Rouge store that day. She appeared eager to assist and offered to take pictures of a sofa to send me. The next day, I called to inquire about the sofa she was supposed to check on for me. She seemed confused about who I was and what I needed, even though she had written everything down. After texting back and forth, she finally said, "Oh yes, I have the picture." However, I haven't received the picture or heard from her since last week. I may have to visit the store myself to check if it’s still available. It seems like she might have something like dementia, because she kept forgetting what she said every other word, or I don’t know.

Love this store and the sales Lady Val that helped me find the perfect recliner for my needs. She was the sweetest and most helpful person. I will absolutely go back and send my friends to her. Thanks again Val. You are the best!!!!!

Tim assisted me in making a decision about 2 large paintings today. He was so gracious about removing them from their display so I could measure and see them side by side. I couldn’t have asked for a better salesperson! I’m so grateful he’s out of retirement!
