American Factory Direct Furniture

I wanted to personally thank the owners of American Factory Direct for the wonderful experience I had visiting their store. Everything about my visit was excellent. My salesperson, Mary, was professional. friendly, efficient and could not have done a better job. I would and will recommend your store to others for their furniture purchases in the future! My wife and I purchased nightstands, a dresser, and a new bed. We where told that shipping would be 2 to 3 weeks 4 at the most due to the freezing weather in January. It has been 6 weeks and I have not received my items. The only updates I get are when I call them. They have promised to call me multiple times and have never called me on any of the occasions, even from that manager. The only person who has been helpful has been the finance person who told me that my order was a special order and normally takes 4 to 8 weeks. I let her know that if I was told that at the time I wouldn't of ordered this. Over all great prices but very bad customer service. Finance seem to have more answers about my product than anyone else.

My fiancée and I were needing furniture for our new home, and we had an incredible experience at AFD! The items we viewed and selected were all extremely high quality. The customer service was outstanding, and we felt right at home every time we visited. We even HIGHLY recommend our sales associate, James — he was fantastic!! He was in constant communication with us every step of the way, and he even made sure we secured a great deal. We could not be more excited to have purchased our dream furniture from AFD!

Nice furniture, long wait times for the furniture to come in and delivery. We waited 7 weeks. When it was time to deliver they won’t work with you at all. You get a date set and the time of delivery will be a complete mystery. They were supposed to notify us the day before with a four hour window. They did not notify us and said it was a glitch in their system., when I called. When they delivered our recliners, one was defective and did not assemble correctly. The others were very difficult to get the recliner back down. When I called to ask about this before the delivery people left, AFD assured me they would repair or replace the items. When I asked if I don’t like the replacement options can I get my money back. AFD said there was a 25% restocking fee. This is unacceptable to us. It’s our money why wouldn’t we deserve a full refund. The lady on the phone became agitated etc… when pressed with this policy. Just be careful- purchasing the furniture is a different experience vs getting the furniture. Now we need a repair and we get the same answer- date for repair set- no time given to us in advance so we can plan. Hopefully we will get a 4 hour window notification the day before. VERY inconvenient to to take the entire day off & sit at home all day and wonder if and when they are coming. I’ve had much better experience at different a local furniture store.
