American Mattress

I have bought mattresses in the past from this location. Robert was very helpful and detailed. He is very knowledgeable about the products and available stock. He provided transparency about the delivery of the items. They arrived on time. The young men, Alex and George did a great job. This is a family owned business. I strive to purchase from family owned businesses.

Delivery drivers didn't center the bed, nor finish moving the old mattress to another room. They wouldn't even lower the new bed. They said it wasn't their job, and they had 20 other delivers. We were promised white glove service. my mother is 70, and this was talked about in the store. We needed the assistance. Edit: After speaking with the store, they are sending someone back to correct the matter. They are handling it professionally. Adding an additional star.

Had an easy experience buying a mattress here from Chris. I decided after a couple of “Amizon” inflat-a-foam mattresses I wanted to go back to springs (pocket springs). I’m kinda tired of all memory foam. Know going in that mattresses at different stores will look different and have different names. Best to go on manufacturers websites, decide what you think you want, then go to the store and if you like one, purchase it there if you have a good sales person. I think I got a Sealy Posturepedic or similar. (I got a Sealy Banstead). Delivery scheduling is great, they text and call and they were right on time. I was delivered what I ordered, no bait-n-switch silliness. All went well!

Really bad experience. I ordered 4 weeks ago. And Robert told me that it would be delivered within 5-7 days. After 12 days I visited the store. I called them multiple times but every time they said this coming Friday or Saturday. I mentioned that it is for my mother and she has back pain. I need it asap but now 4 weeks later still I haven’t received the mattress.

Purchased a Sealy bed. Was told the mattress would arrive that Thursday; it never came. Then was told it would come the next Tuesday; it never came. Then was told it would come on the following Saturday; it never came. I went in to the store for a refund, Robert was extremely rude about the whole thing. Got my refund and will be going elsewhere. Too bad 0 stars is not an option.
