Bob's Discount Furniture and Mattress Store

I purchased a leather sectional sofa from Bob’s in 2023. After about 18 months of normal use, I started having issues—the edges began tearing. Even though I paid nearly $500 for insurance, the insurance team declined the repair, calling it “wear and tear.” A few months later, the leather also started peeling, despite Bob’s staff initially assuring me it was genuine leather. Once again, the insurance claim was denied. After reviewing the insurance policy, I realized there are more exclusions than actual covered items. Almost everything is categorized as wear and tear, making the insurance practically useless. I do not recommend purchasing their insurance, and I strongly advise checking the leather quality carefully before buying. Interestingly, I have no issues with my bedroom set (which I did not insure). Very disappointing experience.

My chair arrived today and was delivered by Nick and Son. They did a great job removing my old chair and setting up my new lift recliner! Went through all the selections and made sure everything was in working order! He was so kind and thirough! It's a real pleasure when people go the extra mile! Delivery and set up are just as important as the kind person Kevin who was my sales associate!

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Awesome sofa.. However, it's supposed to be charcoal gray. It's clearly blue! We have fully adjustable wifi lights that we can make super white, or yellowish soft white so no, the lighting is NOT why it looks blue. It's clearly blue.. Which is weird because they do not offer this sofa in blue! These are made in Vietnam. Box says charcoal as well. Now we're stuck with a blue sofa. We chose charcoal gray for a reason. Now the colors we chose to paint our living room are not going to work. We're NOT HAPPY. 3k dollars spent on something we're not happy with. Attached is the photo of what we got, vs the one in the showroom. This is a big problem. There's clearly a big difference between the two! You guys keep taking down my review on your website as well!! You don't let actual customers post a review unless it's a good review... Why is that? Don't worry, I'll make sure everyone knows. You guys want to silence actual customers. Cool, I'll make sure I take this as far as possible. Game on

We went into the Dayton Ohio store yesterday with no intentions to buy we live in Cincinnati and we wanted to see what the dinette set looked like and Dayton is the only one that had it on the floor on display like I said we weren’t ready to buy yet, and Kevin waited on us at the Dayton location and he was so kind so pleasant low low pressure that we just felt we had to buy it since he had serviced us so well we wanted him to have the commission off of it. I’m sure they work on commission so if not because of Kevin and being so wonderful and answering everything we just felt like we would be not fair if we didn’t buy so we bought our furniture and now we’re waiting for it to arrive and be delivered. We were thrilled with the price. We were thrilled with the service in the store. The store is so clean and just so welcoming and we’ve bought with Bob’s furniture before we’re very excited.

Wonderful customer service, kristen is my girl! She was friendly, knowledgable, and remembered me as soon as i walked in the store…wonderful selection and i am excited to receive my new furniture! Oh, i Cant forget the manager in training that worked with us! You’re gonna do great! Thank you!
