Before buying one of these multi-thousand dollar beds, just know that if it fails, they will charge $190 to come out and look at it and sell you a $250 pump that is non-refundable even if that is not what is actually what’s wrong with the bed because the chat agent decided that was the solution. For the cost of the mattresses, you’d expect some level of customer service, but I can assure you, there is virtually none.

Rating: 1/5 for Sales Experience | 5/5 for the Mattress I’m writing this to warn others about the dishonest sales tactics at the Lincoln Park Sleep Number, specifically with Jakob Farris. We went in on Sunday, June 29th, and Jakob told us flat-out that the July 4th sale was ending that day. He used this lie to pressure us into a quick purchase, and we felt pushed into buying a mattress we didn’t even want. It turns out the sale actually continued through the entire holiday weekend and beyond. What’s disappointing is that we were ready to be loyal, high-value customers. We were planning on purchasing multiple high-end, expensive mattresses, but Jakob's dishonesty ruined that. He mentioned he wanted to travel the world; if that’s the case, he needs to learn how to make money the honest way instead of lying to people for a quick commission. We ended up calling Sleep Number to cancel the store purchase entirely. We bought the mattress we actually wanted through the Sleep Number website instead, and the experience was so much better. The website actually let us use our Health Savings Account (HSA) and we even got Rakuten cash back, which the store didn't offer. We’ve had the mattress for 4 months now and it has been fantastic. The product is 5 stars, but the sales experience with Jakob was awful. Do yourself a favor: skip this store and just buy online!

Dorna was friendly, professional and super helpful guiding us to what we hope will be the best choice for our budget, health and sleeping habits. Very comfortable to work with, long experience in the business. Delivery next month, can’t wait!
